GUA DE BSQUEDA DE INFORMACIN EDUCATIVA EN INTERNET (Modelo de bsqueda de material autntico en ingls)

I.

En la pantalla del monitor (escritorio-desktop) aparece una serie de conos, entre ellos, el icono del navegador (browser) existente:

y lleve el cursor a uno de los conos de los Tome el ratn/mouse navegadores, presione dos veces la tecla izquierda (double click) y la pgina de explorer o netscape aparecer en pantalla. Si utiliza el disco con este programa simplemente lleve el cursor a www.explorer.com o www.netscape.com y el cursor se transformar en una manita, presione la tecla izquierda del ratn para que cargue la pgina.

Seleccione el motor de bsqueda o buscador (searcher) de su preferencia. Al llamar el navegador es probable que cargue una pgina predeterminada que generalmente corresponde a un motor de bsqueda, de lo contrario, puede escribir en el espacio en blanco en la parte superior de la pgina la direccin (URL) de un buscador: Motores de bsqueda (Engines-Searchers)

Al aparecer la pgina del motor de bsqueda, en el espacio en blanco escriba el tema o tpico que desea investigar; por ejemplo: Escritores norteamericanos (american writers). Escritores norteamericanos siglo XX (american writers 20th century) Nombre del autor: Ernest Hemingway. Lleve el cursor al espacio buscar (search, go), presione la tecla izquierda del ratn o simplemente presione enter en su teclado.

Al iniciar la bsqueda aparecer una lista de pginas relacionadas con el tema solicitado. Usted debe seleccionar la(s) que considere que est(n) ms relacionada(s) con el tema que investiga. Simplemente coloque el cursor en una de las pginas y presione la tecla izquierda. Guardar la informacin que ha bajado (download) de Internet: Guardar la pgina web completa: Ir a la parte superior izquierda de la pgina y seleccionar Archivo (File). En archivo selecciona guardar como... (Save as...). Presiona la tecla izquierda e inmediatamente la pgina es archivada -por lo general- en mis documentos. Este ltimo mtodo no es el ms recomendable ya que adems del texto y las imgenes, se guardan todos los elementos existentes en la pgina, incluyendo marcos y tablas, haciendo el archivo muy pesado.

Guardar la pgina o parte de ella utilizando el procesador de palabras Word: Entre los conos que aparecen en el escritorio (desktop), por lo general aparece ese programa, llmelo y aparecer en pantalla. Si ste no est en el escritorio, en la parte inferior izquierda del monitor aparece el signo Inicio (Start), selecciona Programas, va a Office 2000 y all lo encontrar. Coloque el cursor en la parte superior de la pgina web, mantenga presionada la tecla izquierda del ratn y arrstrelo (grab) hasta el final de la pgina.

Presione la tecla derecha y seleccione copar. Minimize la pgina (ir a la parte superior derecha y presione el lado izquiero (-). Al aparecer la pgina word, va a la parte superior y presiona pegar (paste). La pgina web ser copiada en word. Ahora puede guardarla en mis documentos o cualquier otro archivo o carpeta. El mismo procedimiento es vlido para copiar solamente el texto o parte de ste. Para copiar una imagen simplemente coloque el cursor en la misma, presione la tecla derecha y seleccione copiar imagen (copy image). La imagen ser copiada en mis imgenes o cualquier otro archivo que usted seleccione. Enviar pgina web o seleccin de la misma a un correo electrnico (e-mail): Lleve el cursor a la pgina superior izquierda. Seleccione Archivo (File), haga un clic y escoja enviar a (Send) y aparece destinatario de correo (e-mail receiver), presione y escriba la direccin del destinatario.

Planes de Clase (Lesson Plans)

Una de las preocupaciones del maestro o profesor es la preparacin de un buen plan de clase.
