You are in the home stretch now!

Don't forget to relax this weekend and have some fun before you enter the AP ZONE.
In case this information slipped past, the AP World History exam is: Thursday, May 17th at the at the LDS Del Sur on the corner of Camino del Sur and Carmel Valley Rd. (LDS Church) check-in begins at 7:30 am; the doors close at 8:00 am. If you indicated you need transportation, we will meet in the front of Westview at 7:15 and walk as a group. BRING ID (Westview or Drivers license) Late students will not be allowed to enter to take the exam. If a student does not show up on the day of the exam, no refund will be issued. Anyone who is sick during the scheduled testing date will need to provide a doctors note to have the exam re-scheduled. Please note that you are excused from periods 1-3 for morning exams and periods 2-4 for afternoon exams. Any other period absences must be cleared by parents/guardians via the AP attendance hotline at 858-780-2000 x3015 at least 3 days prior. Off campus passes are not required and will not be written security will have a list of the students taking an exam each day. 1. Several sharpened No. 2 pencils (with erasers) for completing multiple-choice answer sheets 2. Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for freeresponse questions in most exams 3. A watch (in case the exam room does not have a clock that can be easily seen) 4. DNHS ID card or Drivers License for identification purposes 5. Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if they are taking an AP Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics Exam. Go to (www.collegeboard.com/ap/calculators) for a list of approved graphing calculators. 6. A ruler or straightedge if taking an AP Physics Exam. 1. Cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), BlackBerry smartphones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, MP3 players, email/messaging devices, or any other electronic or communication devices 2. Books, compasses, mechanical pencils, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, notes, or colored pencils 3. Rulers and straightedges (except as previously noted) 4. Scratch paper (notes can be made on portions of the exam booklets ) 5. Computers, or calculators (except as previously noted) 6. Purses or backpacks 7. Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions 8. Watches that beep or have an alarm. 9. Portable listening or recording deviceseven with headphonesor photographic equipment. 10. Food or drink unless all labels are removed- must be in clear plastic baggie 11. Clothing with subject-related information
