Communication: Course representative involved communicating with tutors on behalf of the students. Experience conducting interviews and delivering clear, concise presentations to tutors and fellow students. Assistant Researcher for Reporters without Borders; an anonymous survey for the Press Freedom Index which involved speaking to journalists to ask them to partake. Customer service advisor Involved communicating with customers in the UK and overseas in order to build strong relationships.
Teamwork: Law Correspondent, Leeds Metropolitan Business Review Involved working as a team to create a newspaper for university in which good group communication was vital throughout the production process in order to meet a strict deadline. Course representative - required working as a team with other course reps and tutors to ensure relevant changes were being made to improve the course.
IT skills: Experience using Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign and Audacity. I also have the skills to create a website using HTML and CSS codes.
