EXTRA REQUIREMENTS ACCORDING TO USG-02

If shipping to/from/through the United States of America, Lithium Metal (or Lithium Primary) batteries are forbidden in passenger aircraft. Packages complying with the Section II of the different PIs must be marked: PRIMARY LITHIUM BATTERIES FORBIDDEN FOR TRANSPORT ABOARD PASSENGER AIRCRAFT or LITHIUM METAL BATTERIES FORBIDDEN FOR TRANSPORT ABOARD PASSENGER AIRCRAFT.
Note: There are exceptions to this rule, in case batteries are shipped with or in equipment. However, exceptions are still stricter than IATA regulations, please contact rcgtrain@dhl.com for specific information.

EXTRA REQUIREMENTS ACCORDING TO USG-02

If shipping to/from/through the United States of America, Lithium Metal (or Lithium Primary) batteries are forbidden in passenger aircraft:

Packages complying with the Section I of the different PIs must be labeled with the CAO label, even if under the limits of PAX. Documentation must be made accordingly.
