THACKERS DAIRY, Kolkata 2 Months (Nov, 2010- Dec,2010 ) working experience in Thackers Dairy, Kolkata, West Bengal as Technical Officer (Commissioning & Maintenance) Thackers Dairy introduces first integrated milk project in West Bengal and also introduce first ever 10 TPD Milk Spray Dryer at nearby Kolkata city. In Bengal, high average relative humidity throughout the year creates this project a challenging job to produce milk powder from liquid milk. This project has been implemented with collaboration Food & Biotech Engineers, Faridabad, Haryana.
Job description: Optimization and performance evaluation of this Powder Plant (10 TPD). Observing Scheduled maintenance of various highly efficient machines. Keep records and analyze data for further improvement of plant operations. Reducing plant operating cost through develop new techniques and efficiently utilizing of various utilities used at plant operations. Developing new product line and commissioning new plant equipments through space management and GHP.
MOTHER DAIRY, Gandhinagar (AMUL) ( www.amul.com ) 3 Months (Aug, 2010 - Oct,2010) working experience in New Powder Plant of Mother Dairy (A Unit of GCMMF), Brand name of AMUL, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, as Officer (Production).
Fully automated three stage MSD spray dryer (NIRO) of 100 TPD capacity with pressure nozzles, pre heater & Bag Filter, the only plant available in ASIA. This plant runs on APC, the first ever powder plant to run with such precise process control in ASIA.
Job description : Production of different types of milk powder namely SMP & WMP with Day to day Production Planning. Looking after the future production planning, energy utilization and documentation. Run plant in optimum condition to get maximum production & also to control of loss in process in plant through APC (PLC, DCS).
Looking after all trouble-shooting during daily operation and analysing. Responsible for GMP and Hygiene issues in the section with smoothing Man & Material management

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN
M.Tech. Research project on PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF CONTINUOUS KHOA COOLER USING CHILLED WATER COOLING MECHANISM PROJECT DETAILS: . The prototype of continuous khoa cooler is made of s/s double jacketed enclosed screw conveyor surrounded by chilled water circulation. 84.29% cooling efficiency could be achieved by dropping to atmospheric temperature from processing temperature of khoa with a maximum capacity of 60kg/hr. This prototype has been applied for patent.
