A lot of inequality evidence of gender based violence which including passion killings, sexual harassment and emotional abuse These challenges emanate from relationships ranging from negotiating safe sexual practices to the contexts within which pregnancies occur as well as their consequences for the health, socio-economic and emotional welfare of female students.

Through our mandate of prevention with a difference we have achieved emotional growth, understanding and tolerance through instilling a sense of acceptance of our commonalities and differences and these results are evident through testimonies from the UB community.

We have learned that empowerment/education at grassroots level is effective in preventing or curbing gender based violence We have also learnt self acceptance, sexual assertiveness, tolerance to cultural dynamics, The ultimate lesson obviously is that
PROACTIVENESS IS BETTER THAN REACTIVENESS!!!
