activities

6. Determine the modulus, argument and conjugate of a complex

number 7. Convert complex number from coordinate form to polar form and vice versa 8. Apply number concepts in problem solving activities Synopsis In this course students are exposed to the various numeration systems and also the elementary number theory. In addition, there is a further exploration into natural, rational, irrational and real numbers. The characteristics and theorems related to these sets of numbers will also be highlighted. Appreciation of Fibonacci Numbers and Golden Ratio in nature is emphasized. In the process, students will apply their knowledge of numbers in number recreations and problem solving.
