INTRODUCTION

Eveready Manufacturing Pte Ltd was established in 1978 and today, we are one of the largest plastic processing companies in Singapore. Our primary business is in plastic recycling and compounding, supplying both commodity and engineering plastic resins worldwide. We also have a lm and sheet manufacturing plant in Malaysia. The plant is able to manufacture LDPE lms of up to 9 meters wide. We have the expertise and know-how to process different types, shapes and sizes of post-industrial and consumer wastes into resins. Our factories are equipped with a complete range of facilities to process up to 1,000 tonnes of resins per month. One of our latest developments is the NIRSortTM Automated Sorting System. This system

is designed to sort plastic materials from a single waste stream into 3 different outputs up to 4 tonnes per hour. All our products go through comprehensive and stringent tests to ensure that the quality meets customers requirements. These tests are done by our QC Department using the full range of equipment and instruments in our laboratory. We have serviced major MNCs as well as local companies. Our customers include petrochemical companies, resin manufacturers, airline companies, plastic product manufacturers, waste management companies and so on. WHAT WE DO

PLASTIC RECYCLING

We provide a one-stop plastic recycling solution to help our customers manage plastic wastes. With our complete range of facilities, we can process all forms, sizes, and shapes of plastic wastes and recycle them into resins. The recycled resins can be returned to our customers or simply sold to other parties as raw materials. We provide personalised services to our customers. After the consultation process, we will recommend the most economical and environmental friendly manner to manage their wastes. Our services include:

Recycling Process

Our recycling processes start from sorting, shredding, crushing, blending, extrusion, to QC testing. Equipped with the full range of recycling equipment and machines, Eveready has the capability to process both postindustrial and post-consumer wastes. Having accumulated more than 30 years of experience in the recycling business, we also have the expertise to recycle various types of plastics materials. In addition, with our know-how in plastic compounding, it is also possible to modify the recycled resins and enhance its physical or mechanical properties by adding additives. In this aspect, our R&D Department will work closely with our customers to develop the required products. To ensure quality assurance, all our products go through comprehensive QC testing before we deliver them to our customers.

Storage and Collection

We advise our customers a storage and collection system to handle the scraps that they produced. For example, we provide bins, crates, or even design appropriate form of containers for our customers to store the plastic wastes. As some of the wastes can be rather bulky, we sometimes propose a solution on how to maximise the storage space which in turn will save on the transportation costs.

WHAT WE DO

NIRSORT AUTOMATED PLASTIC SORTING SYSTEM

The NIRSortTM is an automated plastic sorting system designed to sort all types of plastic wastes. Using the Near Infrared technology, the system can solve all manual sorting problems such as labour intensive, slow, inaccurate and inconsistent. The system has a high capacity of 2 to 4 tonnes per hour and sorting accuracy of up to 99%. The Near Infrared sensors are extremely reliable and able to detect all types of plastic.

The design of each sorting plant is unique. We work closely with our customers to study the types, forms and sizes of the incoming waste stream that the sorting plant is designed to handle. We also need to understand the customers requirements and the plant conguration in order to build an appropriate sorting plant. Having gathered all this information, our project team will undertake the entire setup of the sorting plant from consultancy, designing, procurement, construction to testing and system commissioning.

PLASTIC COMPOUNDING

We provide plastic compounding services using prime or recycled materials to produce high performance plastic resins. We have the expertise to compound plastic resins with the following properties: - ame retardant - UV resistant - glass bre reinforced - carbon bre reinforced - high heat resistant - high mechanical strength

We also manufacture masterbatches and mineral llers compounds as follows: - Calcium carbonate masterbatch/ compound - Talc lled masterbatch/compound - Ti02 lled masterbatch/compound - Filler mixture compound - Colour compound

Recycled Resins

Eveready is the largest recycled plastic resins supplier in Singapore. We have a constant supply of polyolens and engineering plastics such as PC, PC/ABS, PMMA, etc. The sources of our resins are mainly from petrochemical companies and resin manufacturers. We offer reasonably priced high quality recycled resins which are near to prime grade specications. The resins are sold to many Asia and Middle East countries. Our excellent customer service and competent technical team have made our high quality resins popular and gain good reputation among our customers.

Plastic Compound

We produce plastic compound resins and masterbatches to customer specications. The resins can be tailor-made to be ame retardant, UV resistant, glass bre reinforced, etc.

Film and Sheet

We have the largest blow lm machine in this region which can produce lms or sheets of up to 9 metres wide. Examples of the lms or sheets that we produce are: - agricultural greenhouse lm - construction sheet - pond liner - airline cargo liner - mulch lm - greenhouse structure - locking clip for greenhouse structure (patented)

OUR FACILITIES

We have 2 factories in Singapore with a total area of 20,500 m2. Our equipment and machineries include baling machines, shredder, crushers, automated sorting plant, extruders, blenders, etc. In Malaysia, the industrial and agricultural lm manufacturing plant is about 7,432 m2. The plant uses modern gravimetric propertioners to ensure the greatest uniformity of the material mixtures in order to achieve high accuracy of the lm gauge.

All our products come with a material specication to ensure that its quality meet our customers requirements. Our tests are conformed to ASTM standards. We are also able to produce the relevant test specications or certications such as RoHS certication.

Technical Support

QC Laboratory

Our QC Laboratory is equipped with a full range of lab equipment and instruments. These include the Melt Flow Index, Izod Impact Tester, Tensile Strength Tester, Heat Distortion Tester, Hardness Tester, Furnace, Drying Oven, QC Injection Moulding Machine, QC Blow Film Machine, and QC Extruder Machine. Every batch of our products will go through a comprehensive test to ensure quality control as well as to give our customers the quality assurance.

Having accumulated many years of experience and know-how, we are able to offer comprehensive technical consultations in plastic recycling and compounding according to customers needs. Hence, besides conducting the QC testing, our QC Department also carries out product developments with our customers and manufactures tailor-made resins accordingly to their specications.
