ElecTIX ROBOTICS WORKSHOP

Robotics is spreading fast to every corner in the world. Before the robotics bug makes you stranded in a place, its time you get equipped with the latest robotics technology and tackle the upcoming situations efficiently. In order to effectively deal with todays industrial automation requirements, we introduced Robotics Program to train you in various fields of robotics mainly focusing on automation. This workshop provides you with a platform where in you do various experiments and train yourself to the advanced level of robotics. ElecTIX is the outcome of extensive research of our team with inputs from both industry and academia. It is a 16 hours training program equally divided into four modules where in both theory and hands-on will go hand in hand. A team of 3 members will be given one Docile X robot kit to work upon during the workshop. Docile X is an intelligent robot which is modular, with a robust platform, multiple wings for mounting sensors which can be used to program to perform many a functions. Further, the mounting wings can be swiveled and rotated on an 180 plane to extract the maximum performance of the sensor. All these allow you to conduct hassle free experiments, tryouts and investigations on the robot. The 8051 mother board exclusively developed by Jay Robotix, integrated into Docile X is completely programmable. It can support a whooping 20 ports for connecting external inputs like sensors, LEDs. As you will learn further in the manual and our on-going workshops, all these aid in making the robot multi functional to the highest level there is and will challenge your creative ability to make the best use of the robot kit. The 16 hours training program is designed such that even a newbie to robotics could be able to make his/her own robot and program it to move autonomously. This program is an ideal foundation for Engineering, Diploma and Science students striving to enter this exciting field.

Pre-requisites:
1. Basic Knowledge of C programming. 2. Basic Exposure to microcontrollers and basic electronics (NOT Mandatory).
