WAVE DISCS AND RADIAL CALIPERS Derived directly from the world of racing, the two 320 mm wave discs at the front, the single 240 mm rear disc, and the 4-piston radial calipers guarantee exceptional braking power at all times and under all conditions. MATRIX INSTRUMENT PANEL The Matrix instrument panel incorporates a genuine on-board computer that you can access directly from the handlebars. The display receives data over a CAN line and gives you all the information you need. It even has a built-in autodiagnostic memory. The LED backlighting, white for the analog section and red for the digital section, is adjustable to three levels of brightness for perfect readability in all lighting conditions.

HYDRAULIC CLUTCH Another one of the technically advanced solutions found on the DORSODURO 750 is a hydraulically operated clutch for smooth, precise action every time. The clutch is also self-adjusting and completely maintenance free.

FRAME + MONOSHOCK + SWINGARM

The frame of the DORSODURO 750 is completely new. Meticulously developed by Aprilias own engineers on circuits and roads all over Italy, the frame is a work of art in steel and aluminium. Derived from racing frames, it is dedicated to the rider who demands maximum thrills and excitement from his motorcycle. The narrow trellis facilitates a genuine motard riding style, in which the bike is gripped firmly between the legs for superior agility, precision and control.
The side members and shell-cast swingarm are made from aluminium alloy for minimum weight, stunning good looks and extra prestige. The monoshock is laterally mounted to allow the exhaust to pass under the seat, benefiting the bikes overall design and balance, and making adjustment a whole lot easier too. The front suspension, in the form of an upside down fork, features adjustable hydraulic damping just like the rear monoshock, so that the perfect setup can always be found whatever the road conditions.

TRI-MAP: THREE MAPPINGS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS All you need to do is close the gas and press the button conveniently located under your right thumb, to choose between the three mappings at your disposal. You dont even need to stop the bike. The SPORT mapping gives you sparkling power and masses of torque when you need to feel the adrenaline flow; TOURING gives you smooth but generous power for a more relaxed ride; and RAIN keeps you in full control on wet and slipper surfaces. Your new mapping is implemented as soon as you open the throttle again. Maximum performance and fun has never been so easy!

The DORSODURO 750s engine features Aprilias exclusive Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle. The system guarantees exactly the right torque at all times, when you need to ride smoothly as in town traffic, and when you cant resist cracking the gas open and letting rip. Unlike conventional throttle systems Aprilias Ride-by-Wire system controls air flow as well as fuel flow and ignition timing. Torque is electronically optimised on the basis of the gear selected, engine speed, throttle twist grip action, and even atmospheric temperature and pressure. The Ride-by-Wire throttle manages engine power in real time so that you always have maximum performance at your command. Optimised emissions and engine noise are another important benefit of the system.
