Al-Musafereen Philippines, Inc., otherwise known as Al-Musafereen PH , is a newly established Umrah and Hajj organizer and operator in the Philippines that is run and supervised by a group of dedicated, experienced and reputable Muslim Filipino professionals who have thought of spending the remaining years of their life to the service of Allah by providing excellent services for the Hajj, Umrah and Ziyarah. It is a 100% wholly owned Filipino firm that was organized through the foresight of its principal incorporators, Dr. Alexander M. Lucman and Mr. Tupa-an A. Datu-Imam, both highly respected Muslim professionals. By the Grace of Allah, Al-Musafereen PH in collaboration with the Transnational Travel & Tours, Inc., a reputable IATA-member travel agency, obtained the latters accreditation as an authorized foreign agent from the Ministry of Hajj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after entering into an agreement with Fayez Trading & Services Co. (Hajj, Umrah, Ziyarah), a well-established and reliable service provider in Saudi Arabia with many years experience in providing quality Hajj & Umrah packages, including VIP packages. Al-Musafereen PH will strive to ensure that the highest level of professional services be provided to valued pilgrims as we envisage to remain fair and honest in all our dealings, delivering quality service to our pilgrims and combining professionalism with firm adherence to the Quran and Sunnah. Can I travel by myself or must I travel in a group package Umrah? One may travel on their own or in a group of any size the only requirement is that all your accommodation and visa must be arranged through an approved agent. Can I combine my trip with a stopover in another country? Yes, Saudi Arabian Airlines offer many onward destinations at a small extra charge including destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Far East. Other carriers such as Emirates, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and Egypt Ai also offer stopovers and onward trips. However you must enter the Kingdom within one month of the visa issue date. What if I cancel after booking? Payment is required in full prior to visa authorization application, a requirement made by the Ministry of Hajj. Refunds on the ground (hotel) arrangements portion of the payment cannot be given. Depending on the ticket type, we may be able to refund the ticket amount less a cancellation charge if allowed by the airline. If the ticket has not yet been issued, then there will be no cancellation charge. Can I change the program once I have booked? No, this is no longer possible as payment for your package is sent to the Ministry of Hajj prior to visa authorization application and the visa issued according to the program. What are the charges for children and infants? If the children require a bed or a seat in the transportation, then they pay the full adult charge. If 2 young children share one bed, they pay 50% of the adult rate plus a service charge. If no bed/seat is required then they pay just the service/visa charge. Airlines typically charge 65-70% of the adult fare for children plus taxes and 10% for infants. How much time must I allow between booking and date of travel? An absolute minimum of 21 days notice in normal periods and 45 days advance notice during Ramadan

Are Ziyarah trips included? Generally, Ziyarah trips are not included in most of our packages. We have certain packages that include Ziyarah. However, we can arrange for Ziyarah trips for those who are interested. Ziyarah trips may also be arranged through a limousine company or any taxi driver locally. I dont have a Filipino passport can I get an Umrah visa? You may only get a visa for Umrah on a non Filipino passport if: You have a resident visa You are here to stay with your spouse who is a Filipino National You are here on a work permit You are here on a student visa How many times in a year can I get an Umrah visa? Under the new system, there are no restrictions on the number of times that you can apply for an Umrah visa as long as the criteria for Umrah visa are met. Can a lady travel by herself? It is a requirement of the Shari'ah as well as the Saudi government that a woman must travel with a valid mahram (close male relative) i.e. father, son, brother, grandson, maternal or paternal uncle, grandfather, nephew, father-in-law and son-in-law. What are the hotels check-in and check-out time? Earliest hotel check-in time is 3pm, and the latest check-out time is 2pm. We cannot be held liable for accommodation not being available beyond these times. If a flight is arriving earlier than the check-in time on the day of arrival, we advise that accommodation is also booked for the night prior.

The Saudi Arabian Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) offers an hourly service between Makkah and Madinah throughout the day on quality and reliable air conditioned coaches, at an approximate cost of SR30 per head. Alternatively, you can hire a cab for approximately SR1,000 one way from Makkah to Madinah and vice versa. The coach stations are located near the Haramayn.
