Delegate: Rubn Alfredo Jaramillo Gmez Delegation: Czech Republic Drug legalization The government of the Czech Republic

is aware of the trouble that rugs represent for the world. This country is also aware that each human being has liberty and so, theyre free to choose whether a healthy life or an unhealthy one. This is why since 2010 the decriminalization of drugs became a fact in this country. We need to develop into the idea that each one is free of choosing, as well we need to overcome the idea that facts show that even Coke soda is harmer than marijuana. The country of Czech Republic has joint countries as Portugal and Netherlands in the ideal that small amounts of drug shouldnt be illegal. The Czech Republic considers that the government annual spending on the maintenance of addicted people is way too high for an illogical crime. The idea that drug should be applied by circumstances that need to be approved, such as this country has. As well the fact that an illegal drug is more expensive than a legal one generates an important income for drug dealers, this must be stopped. According to the CIA (Central Investigation Agency), the incomes of drug dealers are on the top three highest ones worldwide; in order to stop the illegal enrichment of drug dealers, the decriminalization of drugs is made according to the law of supply and demand, since drug is legal the demanded quantity is higher, therefore the price is lower; if we can control some incomes, then the final drug dealer income would be less than the one in a country that punishes drugs. For example, according to the National Center Policy Analysis, in Poland, one gram of marijuana costs 20 dollars and in Czech Republic is now costing 10 dollars. The main proposals by the Czech Republic in order to solve the drug legalization problem are the following: Drug legalization must be an accepted idea, in this way economic terms could be better and it would be an important step towards the fight against drug dealing and crime corporations. The legalization must be highly detailed, meaning that in order to stop the illegal enrichment and in the same way control the amount of the drug purchased, several details must be applied to the laws, in this way drug would stop being a worldwide important problem. The Czech Republic invites the country of Netherland to join within Portugal for a Worldwide Drug Committee in which drug investigations will be realized in order to achieve laws for each country that will be highly effective against drug crime corporations. A whole new idea must be supported by people in order to make governments realize that drug legalization is the best way to confront this problem
