Madrid The project would be a group portraits showing the different kind of Madrid citizens. Taking a map of the center of Madrid and going neighborhood by neighborhood taking pictures from the people who lives there, in their natural enviroment. Showing the way we live in here. The idea is making a group of photographies, doesn't matter the technique, anagogic or digital photography, or trying instant photography, lomography... doesn't matter. Madrid cinque 1990 He lives in Madrid where he explores the traditional disciplines as well as the new techniques and methodologies (from drawings and prints to photography, collage, paintings, installations) looking for the perfect matching between theme and medium: the definition of the artist, body as inspiration and the study of my generation as well as the context that surrounds the piece. His photographies have been published in different magazines such as cyan mag, vice and lamono.

He has also exhibited in the Fine Art University of Madrid, the last being an installation called Glory Hole with Jorge Fuster. He also took part in the charity exhibition 10 artisti per lAIL (Miln). He is currently working as an active member of ZOMBIESTUDIO with the project disposable generation and other projects that investigate social movements in line with contemporary art. Madrid I am interested in any experience that requires an approach to drawing and sculpture. I move between these two brackets. This year I am developing a project that deals with the conception of the body as an object, a design, an inert dummy, an object on hold. Previously I adressed the study of the dependence of the human, being treated from different points of view. Madrid My work recently is to create collective or individual actions, but always trying to interact or interfere in the daily life of the rest. I mean, my last project was to move money from my account with $ 5 bills and write them a message that might give pause to those who read it. I am interested in the process but the final work, as I consider the process as a work in itself not as a means to achieve something, in fact that something does not interest me and my work would be impossible to make it provoked so single document the process. Another of my projects was to create a prototype web information search that lets you search, by that I mean that in my work I try to "wake up" by the viewer thinking and dive in my work unintentionally. Londo I've been thinking about the notion of interpersonal distance, and the n barriers that get erected between people, whether imposed or chosen. These might be the physical pens of open-plan offices, or their hushed working culture; choosing to wear an iPod to avoid contact on the Tube, the security glass at many service counters, or simply people being too 'busy' to fully engage and connect with each other. I'm already working towards exploring this in the form of an audio- based installation, but would be especially interested in exploring different cultural takes on this. For example, whether such isolation/individualism is a construct of London, the UK, or comparable in Madrid or wider Spain. I work across different forms, including live performance, written, audio

and vido work and practical, physical making. I'm especially interested in under-used senses, such as touch and smell. These tend to come together as a project demands, so at this stage, I'm more sure about the territory I'd like to explore than the exact form in which this would manifest itself. However, it's quite possible that this might involve live elements, and maybe participative; perhaps with food and conversation. Or maybe the absence of both/either. One thought for exploring this is the dinner party in which different guests are invited to put on an iPod and explore how this affects their relationship to others. Audio content as yet unknown, but perhaps this might contain malicious gossip or facebook feeds, inviting a reading of people based on third-party, tangible information , rather than first- hand nuanced human judgement. Which will we trust more? Abstracted information relayed by an 'authoritative' source, or our own direct experience? As I understand the aim of MilesKm would be to forge collaborative development, I think this is about as far as I'd want to develop the idea alone. It seems more approrpriate that further development and realisation should progress as a collaborative venture. But I hope this provides sufficient framework to move it forward. Spain I am a student of Fine Arts at inMadrid. My work focuses on paintings and drawings. The thematic is usually urban landscapes, architecture and portraits. Personally and professionally I usually base my work on portraits, using photos as a starting point. When I try to do something different I focus on plastic arts. Talking about painting, I make the whole work around patches, I try to show the reality let it flowing, I mean, I like hyperrealistim but I try to capture it in a more simplistic way, starting from patches. Madrid I am an student of design in Universidad Complutense of Madrid, as design student I am interested in illustration and design, but also in painting and drawing. I would like to develop a project mixing both illustration and painting. My recurring themes are urban landscapes and human portraits. Londo Hi! I would like to do a collaboration using photography or sculpture.

Londo n Madrid If you take a look at my website you can see that my main interest is painting, considered as the very act of painting, along with video performance and urban interventions. It is interesting to see the pictorial value I give to these means. The theme I usually deal with is my identity as an individual in a society that has been imposed on me, the fight against society and my little interest in being part of it. Londo Have it large. n Londo n I'm a digital media artist based in north London, I work alot with video, but am interested in creating interactive works using code, I don't have any specific ideas for the project right now but would be interested in collaborating to make something new, past themes in my work include, structalism, religion, repetition and post modernism. I've done some projects where I've worked with the pass of time, a set of personal decisions and external elements do to our lives. the wrong use that the young people are doing with their bodies, what the drugs mean to our society. I like to draw, the video art, the performances, and more tecnics. I really think that a team work is wealth-producing, and I would love to improve my nowledge by interacting with other cultures and other artist. My practice is about the perception, interpretation and emotional resonance of daily life observation. By using the form of repetition of different objects to transform with the various density, duration and evolution. Between human and nature, manufactory and craftsmanship, I am embodying the boundary between the illusory material world and the changeable concrete nature. In order to respond to how the global and mass manufacturing culture affect our understanding of reality and values. Yes

The ideas is that one person starts with a photo or sculpture, and the other person replies with something that they think is connected, then I reply, then you reply, and on and on. This can be related to the colour, shape, composition... anything really! No proposal at present.......!

My work looks to reveal implicit social structures and hidden power relations through the creation of a visual narrative rooted in personal cultural reference. In would be interesting to combine aspects of another culture to find a medium that unearths hidden or presently undeveloped similarities in background. To be realised in a hopefully multimedia format. Londo I'd like to work with someone interested in making a short film. I've n recently obtained several obsolete video cameras including super-8mm film and a VHS recorder and would like to collaborate with someone to see what we can do with them. I don't have any set ideas for the film but anyone who enjoys dressing up in a 60s/70s style and collecting odd film props especially welcome! Brussel To be nice and make nice work working. s Londo n I want to put together an installation. One possibility would be a work that would be continually in a state of installation and deinstllation. A group of appointment janitors would set up and take down the work over and over again. At the heart would be a performance- all of the elements would culminate in this. Hopefully with music. Any Collaborative proposal needs to be constructed on a collaborative basis. Once I have a collaborator we'll flesh out a proper proposal, and I'm extremely confident that we'll produce a mind blowing piece of art. My current practice is very ideas lead and I tend to work with text, ready-made objects and video. I am up for any sort of collaboration. I am keen to experiment and try new things.

project related with how people deal with changes in their lives, phase changes in physics terms, what the education has to do with it and, finally, how it affects people happiness. http://arthitecturediego Madrid Id like to take part to experience what some of my friends have porral.blogspot.com/ experienced last year. Ive been recommended this journey, and I think it suits me a great deal. I study architecture, but take on art as a hobby. I usually do pen drawings, although last month I started taking oil classes. I tend to do more realistic things, rather than abstract, I dont know if this is what you are looking for, but check out my blog and see for yourself. Thanks. http://eviafstralou.word Londo I am a sculpture student , and i work mainly with ready made objects. press.com n My work stands between sculpture and performance , and the objects I create suggest a series of movements that i have imposed on them. At this point,I am interested in making a film about escapism and voyeurism. How would people escape, from unwanted situations, restrained places , or simply runaway. In other words, how would they escape gravity. My main inspiration for the film, came from Rebecca Horn's 'Buster's Bedroom', where two women, one voluntarily and the other involuntarily become patients on a mental asylum. I am planning to use situations from everyday life, because I believe 'escaping' is a universal subconscious drive. I will try and demonstrate it in the most literal and yet comically tragic way. Through air or water, overall the denial of gravity! Londo Working with a range of media my practice draws upon a broad range of n formal references to explore urban landscapes and environments to reveal the way that activity, movement and light is inscribed in place. Through this process I investigates the relationship between perception, visualisation and understanding. The resulting works reflect on the everyday whilst making visible the poetry of chance connections, moods and paradoxes. http://elenigmadelafruta Madrid Having fun!! I would like to create an installation which would involve the construction of a shrine/home altar depicting our quest for Icons across cultures and epochs. The materials I would propose to use would be knitted string and wire in which iconography will be displayed. Betwee I'm afraid my blog/website needs to be updated, if you want to see n photographs of my recent and new work, please email me. Londo At the moment I am a generalist, I flitter between mediums, I am n and deciding whether I want to specialize in Metalwork, textile or ceramics. I Surrey have worked with clay, silk painting, drawing, sewing fabric objects and other sculpture materials. I also do short creative writing. My main area of interest has always been the human anatomy, medical science and human evolution, the main focus being on the development of the human hand. I find architecture to be a great interest and influence, understanding the importance of social context and environmental issues. Post- modern and radical architecture, urban vs. nature. I must add I also have done a lot of reading about Walking, the history of walking and the landscape and also edge lands, places between the urban and country spaces, I have this idea about Pylons acting as a sort of mapping system, we see them but when do we ever explore the spaces around them. I was involved in MilesKm 2011 and I am back again looking for anyone who has interesting ideas and wants to experiment with materials and space, perhaps throw some walking in to the mix, I'd like to look at architecture and sculptural processes. my work tends to focus on the inner lives of others--I am very interested in the relationship between people and their environments and how that reflects and influences these very personal inner worlds. I approach this theme from several different points of view. I attempt to keep in mind the internal and external factors that influence each person's inner world, as well as the consequences these factors have on both a personal and collective level. Londo I am an interdisciplinary artist currently working in London. My art n work is mainly but not exclusively performance art, i also work with photography, video and installation, but generally in conjunction with performance. i graduated from Winchester school of art in 2011, finishing my degree with a first class honours in fine art. my practice Queries time and action, and what evidence should be left after this action has taken place. i have been involved in many collaborative works, currently i am part of 'forma' a contemporary performance collective. I enjoy working collaboratively because i enjoy not having complete control over a pieces outcome, and leaving works and ideas open and allowing a sense of play. Madrid I think this is a great opportunity to get together with new people, have fun and be creative. What I like about this event is the fact that it has to be a collaborative project. Im not used to working with others when it comes to art, as it is usually something personal, so Im really looking forward to how this can turn out. Im a student of Architecture who likes to paint, draw, doodle and make stuff. Most of these drawings and doodles I keep to myself. Recently I started trying to make some of these into actual artworks or at least I am trying to do so, most of it still in process. I dont follow any particular style although most of what I do is abstract. I also dont have any favorite medium and I usually like to work with what I can find around to see what the outcome might be. Although I am very meticulous with some of my work I dont mind being carefree and I am open to new results. I dont follow a precise theme although I am interested in composition and how a piece of art works aesthetically. I get most of my inspirations from what I see and find lying around. Most

of my ideas come from finding stuff and thinking how they could work as an element of a composition or a composition in itself. Sometimes Ill use the same object or Ill replicate it or paint it and see how I can make it my own. I tend to go for minimalistic approaches even though lately I have been combining this with a lot of expressivity, creating an interesting contrast. Also, painting isnt my only interest; I have experience in filmmaking and editing, and in music production. I also enjoy creating installations or spaces. So in that sense Im open to work in any media. exchange the canvas to continue the other's work, following the same dynamic. Spain Oriented towards painting, I am interested in the possibilities this media offers in the artistic process (veils, materical loads, etc...) Influenced by my cultural background, I am currently developing a project focusing on a methodology where instinct & reason go hand in hand. In the Spanish culture the more animalistic aspect of humans is a notable trait. Peoples' names (ex. 'Dolores', which means pain), our food (ex. 'Morcilla', fried rice with blood) and our music, I find is an example of this attempt of conciliating reason (man) & instinct (animal). Thus, the objective of my work is developing a methodology where I take risks subconciously and later analyze & contextualize them. Alcobe My name is Paula Warren Alonso, I am twenty-two. I am studying Fine ndas, Arts at the Complutense University, Madrid. Madrid My work involves fields such as painting, drawing, photography and and . audiovisual media. I have been researching the world of drama which (Spain) allows a physicall and inmmediate expeirience an act of creation. The world of publicity also awakes my curiosity. Therefore , I am open to any project which could come out of this experience. I believe that the exchange of ideas among art students from different countries could be most interesting and productive. Between my experience and yours , something new is bound to arise. My group work has consisted in the painting togheter (two people painting simultenously on the same mdium or three people working on a mural painting). As well as belonging to a theatre group ( which finally resulted in a play called Unbekannt -Unkown- ,created by all of us). Currently I am carrying on with my pictorial research. I am interested in the construction of potential and ambiguous images. Understanding as potential: 1. possible, as opposed to actual. 2. Strength or power available of a specific order . 3. capable of being or becoming. Images which are being built along the different posibilities which are being generated. The creation of a image which gradually acquires strength and which

uses, as a construction guide movement impulses thanks to a constant observervation exercise. Some personal interests: I love Alberto Giacometti. I like Marlene Dumas, Gerhard Richter, Egon Schiele Intrigued by Antonin Artaud (and his teathre of cruelty) . The last book I have read: Michael Houllebecqs The Map and the Territory . A film: Terrence Malick s The Tree of Life . A music group: Arcade Fire. I create work that takes inspiration from everyday occurrences, places Possibly or situations. My work is narrative based and uses such occurrences as the basis of a fictional piece. Documenting specific locations in my immediate surroundings plays a vital role in my creative process, as does the way I interpret these locations. I use alternative forms of documentation as a way of mapping and archiving, making imprints in clay, drawing and creating obscure collections. I like my work to be playful and to create game-like tasks that enable me to explore new areas of a city or a place, taking inspiration from the work of the Situationists. Much like the Situationists I give these games set rules and boundaries to give the project purpose and direction, as well as allowing it to evolve in interesting and unexpected ways. My work relies on interpretation of the specific environment by myself and the viewer and I hope to make them question the reality of the work. I look forward to collaborating with people from other locations as this strongly echoes interests in my practice. My work is based on drawing. I do realistic drawings, normally of people, using exclusively pencil on paper. The thematic revolves around human being, the animal and nature in relation to the trascendental. To talk about this, I rely on symbologies based on geometric forms with which I complete my drawings. Visual poetry works

On the bordeliner between languages, on the borderline between disciplines, on the borderline between art and not art. Therefore, in my projects I am always interested about the interdisciplinary, the undefined. The identity, community, cultural and communication flows has always interested me much. Creating devices that generate new flows, dialogue and cooperative centers is a art work like any other, provided it is done from a critical position, from an independent thought. The visage, as a paradigm of identity, is very present in my work.A face that goes from individual till the multiplicity of the ordinary.

My work is autobiographical in nature with a focus around gender and sexuality. I use performance, video and installation. I am very intrigued by this project and open to collaboration with artists similar or very different to myself. I am currently working on a one-on-one performance piece using my body and the internet to explore my previous employment in the sex industry. I am also in the process of setting up a protest agency. The premise is that members of the public hire us to protest for them. I am very open to new ideas and news ways of working. I am a sculptor in my third year of Wimbledon College of Art. My work is Yes influenced by architecture, design and space and its significance as to whether it is a liberating or a governing device. Previously in my practice I have created installations based on 'non-place'. Places of transience and insignificance which cannot be marked a place or designed to disengage public action. I have since then explored The un- built; radical and extremely investigational designs which break away from every fibre of non-places being but were too radical for their time to ever be built. This year, I have been influenced by Rem Koolhaas, urban delirium and 1972 EXODUS, or the voluntary prisoners of architecture. with the right instruments. I am now creating my own collages and narratives, taking photographs of parts of buildings in London, pasting them together to create my own city and buildings. I then screenprint my collages onto aluminium and mould and sculpt the aluminium into forms to create a landscape. Using aluminium is an ongoing part of my practice to use industrial materials. I may begin incorporating other materials and screenprinting onto them also in the next stage of my practice. Doing this collaboration would be a fantastic opportunity for me to gain more experience within a collaborative environment and to see the outcome of a piece of work that has been created between two different nationalties, ideas, and inspirations. And a great chance to take part in an independent project outside the university. Amster Hello and hola! Connecting the space between Madrid and London once again, I propose to propiciate a conversation among two strangers on a bed, in a neutral space in Madrid. This conversation will be recorded. At the same time, in London, a similar bed disposition will be arranged, as well as the conversation. Afterwards, in both empty beds the recording of the opposite conversation will be played. The languages will vary between English and Spanish, as well as the number of conversations which will take place in either bed. This will be called connected beds, connected tongues. The people taken to the bed in either side of the piece will have something like a script, more like a startup guide which will bring the conversation to certain ideas. The making of the piece has an enormous part in it. I plan the actual conversations to be held the 23th of March, and the crossed listening part, the 24th. (given that the 24th were the final date for the exhibition in London. This could be rearranged for some other day). The piece would consist, physically, of a two-people bed (aprox. 120 x 180 cm), curtains/temporary walls for privacy, a recording machine and speakers, and atrezzo elements for cosiness. The London bed would be organized by my partner, and the Madrid one by me. The writing of the scripts and other logistic matters will be discussed and worked in via email. Of course, this is an initial proposal that can -and hopefully will- be modified and enlarged by the future partner of the project. It is an idea, still to be conveyed, increased, reordered and fed by the collaboration of our two minds. Im looking forward to it. Madrid At this moment, Im working with networks, routs, connections...My suggestions would be that each participant should draw all the roads, streets, and places that they know of their cities. Then the resulting drawings would combine to create the map of the "new city" on a graphic way through lines Madrid I normally do figurative paintings, having a preference on portraits or human figures in every form. I try to explore the idea of identity, self knowledge and human condition, so this might be a chance to take it one

step further by working with someone I have never met. Anyway, I'm open for new themes and procedures. I would find very interesting working with someone that doesn't share my preferences too, since that would be very enriching for both parties. Spain My proposal is about the graphic vision of injuries; the skin as an abstract map, the aesthetic of the body transformation. For example, I will made a painting with an injury, apparently abstract but representing a big image of a wound. It will be very interesting that the other artist made his own conception about this work. Amster The proposal explores the way we handle information and on the dam, elements we choose to remember after an encounter.A drawing, a The sound, a performance, a gesture, a video sequence can record the Nerher impression of this experience and create a dialogue made of disparate lands things. I would like to see this dialogue taking different forms and reveal the unpredictability and pluralism that characterizes every effort of communication. Spain Hi my name is Marina and im from Madrid. As for this project I was thinking about something related with animals or the human body. About the technique I dont care, but mainly I use to work with print stamp, a simply pen, acrylic or even lithography. Another idea for me is work with a mix between photography and my draws or stencil so if someone use to do photography can be another option. All we have to do is to talk about it so I will be so proud and glad to be in the project. Madrid My proposal is to work on the concept of anti-postcard. Sometimes when we travel to some countries, we only visit what we consider important to see, that ends up being, buildings, museums and monuments, what is agreed to be emblematic sites. However these sites are an imposition and a way of supporting the politic power. We talk, however, about public places, but they arent places for the people, but places that support the discourse of state power, and so the roads become "tapis roulants" where we learn social conformism. makes us belive in nationalisms, in homelands, in feelings of belonging, because these "monuments" are what we often show as icons of our country, and sometimes we even belive on that. Therefore, my intention is to work on the "anti-postcard", the "non- monument", and the non-site, on the everyday life places, on places that could be anywhere, on our places. I think this would be an interesting project to develop in this application, because it could evelop in collaboration with anotherperson, who has, perhaps, a different view about his country, or maybe who would like to share his antipostals sending them in the same way we send postcards. So the final exhibition would show the procedure of sending each other images that we do not identify with the city of Madrid or London, or any other city, and however we would identify many individual cities, except perhaps for some written reference which can be added. The intention is to make people think about the national identification, and about how the icons of the city are the way that the state has to support his power. In my works you can find all kinds of apparently different things. Mostly, about the world that surrounds me and about the inside-world of individuals in the society that i'm into. sometimes works can be just inner emmotions projected, sometimes metaphores of my surrounding world, sometimes representations about others' lifes or worlds. Painting, photography and video work based on the urban landscape and architecture I'm a video artist/photographer, recently graduated from The University No of the Arts. I am a Slovenian living in London and am currently questioning the socio-political differences and similarities in the decaying Europe. I have been keeping isolation as a constant integral part in my work, but would like to explore the identities, resistance and nature in my future projects. My work involves the use of projections and sinister sounds. Working in this collaboration would be a wonderful thing, as it would allow me to exchange ideas with other artist and step out of the creative comfort- zone.

I work with video, performance, writing and discussion. My key Yes interests in my practice include storytelling, folklore, travel, the content of television and the way we respond to it, and satire. Although it would be great to work with anyone who shares these interests, I am also eager to do something completely new and out of my comfort zone. Meeting people with whom I can form bonds is the most important part of this project to me and can't wait to collaborate in this incredible experience once again.
