Pre-enrollment and Online Grading System (POGS): Enhanced Web Services for Batangas State University - Malvar Campus, Malvar, Batangas Description In a very modern time, a more advanced tool to be used in a system is a must. People would like to have all the possible, the best and fastest solution at hand, so the researcher continues finding a solution to have an enrollment and submission of grades, the easiest way. The proposed study will allow the students to encode and print the subjects they wish to enroll anytime and anywhere. It will provide an auto evaluation of subjects that will eliminate the number of evaluators during enrolment period. It will also embed a scheduling plan for instructors, students and classrooms for easy distribution and arrangement of schedule plans for all and about the online submission of grades, the student record will be of disable mode whenever he/she is not yet paid in his/her tuition fee so that the instructors can refrain from uploading their grades that will make them settle their obligations. Significance of the Study (Outputs and Impacts) This study aims to enhance and add additional features to the current enrollment system and online submission of grades being used by the campus. The result/output of this study will greatly help this campus in providing a better enrollment and online grading system. This campus will be the first to benefit from this study for it is living into its mission for the students. The students will benefit more in this system because they can try to enroll what subjects they can take even if they are at home. Aside from that, they can easily know/view their schedule of classes on their registration form after enrollment. Lastly, they would not be needing to see their adviser or whoever in-charge for evaluation of their grades because of the auto evaluation of subjects feature of the proposed study. To the parents, since many of the students are accompanied by their parents during enrollment, they will automatically know their childs schedule and subject instructor for easily monitoring. To the instructors, they cannot upload a students grade once he/she is not yet paid in his/her tuition fees. Finally, this research study may help the researchers in pursuing studies related to this, for it will provide comprehensive and theoretical information about preenrollment and online grading system.
