BRIEF 05

Bryony Longden Overview 01 / 06

Brief
A collaboration with final year fashion student Bryony Longden. The brief to develop Bryonys identity, design direction and promotional materials. The brief was focusing on creating a brand identity for Bryony exploring the adding of textures and layers, transferring this onto the typography and lettering for the logotype and the monogram.

Concept
I was required to develop the identity based on Bryonys practice. Considerations such as how Bryony works within her practice, drawing emphasis on how she adds layers and textures. Keeping the design direction minimal focusing on the consistencey throughout the range of stationary, look book and promotional materials. As the brands focus was on Bryonys practice, allowing for expansion for future projects. The idea was to convey the handcraft that she uses with her briefs across the range considering materials, colour and typography. Creating a range of materials that support Bryonys clothing range to be unique and bespoke.

Target Audience
The collection is aimed towards high end womens boutique outlets, competing with the likes of Vivienne Westwood and APC. The audience is young professional women in the creative industry aged 25-35 as well as clients, potential buyers and retailers.

Resolution
A considered brand identity, logo and design direction. 24 page full colour lookbook showcasing Bryonys collection. B3 double sided full colour promotional mailer. Full colour double sided collection launch invitations. Print accessories including clothing tags. Proposed website and design direction.
