Explain related provisions under The Factories and Machineries Act 1967 and OSHA 1994. Describe the boiler operations, conditional monitoring, installation of new boiler, various type of testing and basic boiler water treatment. Sketch the steam boiler, piping system, fittings and other accessories. Analyse defect samples and tubes failure and recognise common boiler deposits. Describe boiler house management (managing log book, safety and health aspects in boiler room). Observe and apply plant safety management (policy statement, arrangement, implementation and accident prevention) and contingency plan or emergency response Describe with evidence for boiler inspections, defects identification and write proposal for repair based on applicable codes and procedures. Carry out boiler inspections, defects identification and prepare proposal for repair based on applicable codes and procedures. Be prepared for examination and interview by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
