Presented by Family Services of Peel. www.fspeel.org Come listen to what all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual, Questioning, Queer (LGBTQ) generations can learn from each other. The group provides an opportunity to build interpersonal relationships, create networks for mutual support for all LGBTQ generations, discuss challenges related to LGBTQ issues and share empowering life stories. Peel Pride Coffee Night:


Join the Pride Committee of Peel at our monthly coffee night. Come on out, meet the Committee and meet some new friends. We look forward to this monthly occasion to bring members of the community together. This event is open to all ages, and all members of the community and our allies. If you have questions around the issues of sexual orientation or gender identity, PFLAG can help. Presented by the East Mississauga Community Health Centre. https://qxposure.blogspot.com An ongoing weekly social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersex, queer, questioning and 2Spirit (LGBTTIQQ2S) adults over the age of 18 who live in the Region of Peel. The group provides opportunities for peer support, social networking, discussion and access to resources and referrals. Refreshments and bus tickets will be provided. Understanding Boundaries Workshops:


It is important that members of our community know how homophobia relates to suicide and depression, their rights, what a hate crime looks like, and options on how to proceed if one should ever occur. This workshop will include: Identifying Hate Crimes, Identifying Hate & Hate Propaganda, Homophobia and Suicide and a discussion on how to report it, when to report it, and how the Peel Regional Police can assist you. Presented by Constable Lori Murphy-LaBossiere, Peel Regional Police. Workshop 1:1-4pm at Peel HIV/AIDS Network (160 Traders Blvd., Unit 1, Mississauga). Light lunch and afternoon snack. Youth Beyond Barriers:


Presented by Associated Youth Services of Peel. www.aysp.ca This ongoing weekly youth group (12-19) offers support and social opportunity as well as resources and mental health referral/information. The group aims to promote healthy living, healthy sexuality and queer & trans positive lifestyles & identities through group and social activities, and community education and advocacy, where appropriate.
