Thanks to our chair person. Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Before I express my opinion, I would like to give definition of feminism.

Feminism is actually aim or belief that women have equal rights, opportunities and power as men had. I am going to agree that feminism has not contributed to the well-being of women in the world. Why? First, Feminist make excuses for female wrongs. This could encourage women to commit more criminal as they are protected by feminist. Feminists seem to ignore the wrongful actions of women and always seem to defend them. The best example of this was Andrea Yates who drowned her 5 children in a bathtub. In 2001 the National Organization of Woman (NOW) president, Patricia exclaimed that Yates did that as result of dominance of men while women are imprisoned at home with their children. And Yates was not being punished for the crime. Murdering children would commonly be decided as wrong. No matter what is the reason is, the crime is still a crime. So is it acceptable if criminal done is forgivable just because it has been done by women? The British Home Office has admitted that women are favored in law courts. Men receive one third longer sentences than women for committing the same crime. If feminism really fights for equality, why dont they fight for this inequality? Second, There is liberal feminism which is radical. For example, one of the laws imposed is where husbands are not allowed to control their wives. Wives are allowed to have sex with other men. This freedom exposes women to a disease such as AIDS and HIV. According to recent statistics, 16.4 million women are suffering HIV and Aids and 1.8 million of them died. Besides that, Feminism also destructs societies marriage. Men are increasingly avoiding marriage and divorce rate increase at the same time. These happen because women are too self-centered in marriage and ask for too much freedom. This is against womens nature to have a family and children. Holland is a country that accepts feminism. They adopt full gender equality policy in term of employment and salary. However, women chose to work Part-Time for the sake of taking care of their children and families. This example proves that it is womens nature to take care for the family. Women had chosen out of their own willingness to be homemakers and not being forced for it. This destroys feminists claim that womens happiness is found outside of the home. Apart from that, research done shows that after feminism is being introduce, womens happiness seem to drop. Over 35 years feminism has been introduced, there are many progressions in women development. After successfully change their position from housewives into career women, it found that those careers itself make a disaster for them. They are suffering physically and emotionally because of too much equality. They are expected to do their best inside and outside the house. Feminism was never about equality for women, it was about obtaining for women a place in society with special privileges. In the UK for instance, eight out of nine of the National Health budget is spent on women's health. How about children, men and senior citizen?

75% of all divorces in the UK are initiated by women because they know the courts will be on their side and they will probably end up with the children and the family home plus a generous child allowance imposed on the father who might seldom be allowed to see his children.

Feminists try to infer - they even say it outright - that domestic violence is only committed by men. This is one of their biggest lies as official figures show that approximately half of domestic violence is committed by women. Feminists further imply that most child abuse is by men. This is an even worse lie as the National Society for the Protection of Children (NSPCC) has published figures which clearly show that most child abuse is by women - mostly mothers. They commit four times as much child abuse as biological fathers.

Hard times for women are over. So feminism should be a big issue right now. Feminists claim that there is glass ceiling in workforce. What they mean by glass ceiling? They said that there is inequality in participation of women and payment of salary. But in real, there is no glass ceiling, If women want to get a job, they can apply for them. If they want more money, they can make more money by working harder, men also do the same. They also want gender equality term in workforce. They want to be called with police women, waitress, Actress.
