Delhi, the capital of India, has long been the center of political and cultural activities. Delhi has been the center of power and politics for thousands of years now. It has resulted into the development of a rich cultural heritage, which is reflected in the form of architectural edifices such as Qutub Minar, Humayun tomb, Birla temple, Red Fort, India Gate and much more. Your sightseeing will cover all the above mentioned structures as well as the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk.

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Delhi, visiting Red Fort (Drive past), Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Father of Nation 'Mahatma Gandhi'. The India Gate is the national monument of India. Situated in the heart of New Delhi, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Originally known as All India War Memorial, it is a prominent landmark in Delhi and commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives while fighting for the British Indian Empire, or more correctly the British Raj in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. It is composed of red sand stone and granite.

Jaipur, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan is the first planned city of India and is known as the Pink City . This city was once the capital of royalty and is now the capital of the state Rajasthan. Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal family. At present Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan. In 1853, when the Prince of Wales visited Jaipur, the whole city was painted pink to welcome him during the regime of Sawai Ram Singh. Today, avenues remain painted in pink, provide a distinctive appearance to the city, hence the name.

Day 04: 14 Aug' 11, Tuesday: Jaipur sightseeing Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, you will set out to explore the Amber fort (ascending the fort on elephant's back). Amber Fort is an architectural delight and consists of some prominent buildings such as the Diwani-i-am, Kali Temple and Jai Mandir along with magnificent marble palaces and gardens. Later city sightseeing visiting City Palace, Hawa Mahal 'Palaces of winds' and observatory. Overnight hotel in Jaipur.
Amber Fort is a stunning and imposing structure. Its construction was started in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I but completed in its present form by Raja Jai Singh I. While the Fort is rugged and imposing from the outside, its interiors are sprawling, warm and beautifully decorated. The Maotha Lake in its foreground reflects the crystal clear image of the Fort and adds its beauty. The Fort can be reached by road through a quick drive or an elephant ride,

which though it takes much more time, is tremendous fun. On reaching the grand Singh Pol gateway and from there onwards is the Jaleb Chowk, the courtyard for disembarking. Here on are two flights of steps, one leading to Sheetla Mata complex with its enshrined image of the goddess, with other main palace complexes.

After breakfast drive to Agra - The city of Monument of Love "Taj Mahal" ; one of the seven wonders of the World, enroute visiting the mysterious ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri - 40 kms before Agra; founded by the Mughal Emperor "Akbar the Great" in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Agra; visiting the Taj Mahal - a monument to love built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, Red fort the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566 and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb - the tomb of Emperor Jehangir's father-in-law. The entirety of the complex of Fatehpur Sikri was built as a kind of homage to this great Sufi saint in time of Emperor Akbar, after whom the city was also named, an act that was a mark of gratitude shown by Akbar. According to modern historians, work on the construction of the complex began around the year 1571, a time when the prowess of the Mughals was at their peak. Once the construction of the fort was complete, the entirety of the complex of the Fatehpur Sikri began to serve as an additional capital to that of the Red Fort at Agra, which had till now been regarded as the only capital of the Mughal Rule. It was abandoned at around the year of 1585 due to shortage of water resources, today it is part of the prestigious World Heritage Sites as declared by UNESCO

Day 12: 22 Aug' 11, Wednesday: Chitwan/ Pokhara. Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast drive to Pokhra. The town of Pokhara itself, at an altitude of just 900 m on the Seti Khola river is overshadowed by the fishtail mountain (6999 m), one of the most beautiful mountain of the world. Upon arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon stroll around the Lake side. The skyline of Pokhara is dominated by breathtaking Annapurna range crowned by Fishtail Peak (it has never been scaled). Day 13: 23 Aug' 11, Thursday: Pokhara sightseeing In the early morning we drive to the north of Pokhara to the view point and enjoy the panorama view of the Annapurna and Machapuchare mountains which are only 30 km away from us. In the morning time these mountain appears to be in the golden light. After the breakfast in Pokhara we drive 15 km to Begnas lake and have a Boat ride on the lake. The Begnas lake is the biggest lake in the Pokhara valley with beautiful surrounding. We can have a walk here and see the life in the villages of Himalayas.
