MECHANICAL TIN CAN CRUSHER

DESCRIPTION: Developed new concept of portable tin can crusher which is easy & help people

to crush the unwanted tin cans easier, the design and fabrication method helped as to understand the process and real engineering problems involved in the development.

MAJOR PROJECT: DESIGN OF TELESCOPIC CYLINDER FOR 150E DUMPER DESCRIPTION:

Project work deals with design aspects of telescopic hydraulic cylinder for

150E dumper to carry the load without any possible failure at working sites the design calculations made considering cylinder size, Stroke required for each stage, selection of materials wear rings and also weld requirements. Dumper play a major role carring bulk material at building sites, since they carry huge load very strong hoisting cylinders are required for efficient and economical operation of dumpers Hoist cylinder are used to hoist the body of dumper to unload material usually hoist cylinders are telescopic in construction to accommodate greater stroke length for small closed for center distance. Analysis of buckling load on the cylinder is carried out using ANSYS software to calculate factor of safety
ACHIEVEMENTS:

Participated in Mathematics talent Exam- Mathematica organized by Karnataka Academy of Mathematics in 2005 secured first class.
