Abstract
The issue of holistic education has been discussed for several years in
Taiwan. Although its importance has been stressed continually, its
accomplishment seemed to far from scope for the theory and practice. The
purpose of this study was to examine the contents and variables of the
holistic education. By means of a qualitative analytical research, focused
on the exploratory research, this paper presented the contents of the
holistic education, paths of the holistic education accomplishment. Based
on the findings, this paper also presented trends of the future research and
a model of the holistic educational evaluation. Finally, recommendations
were made for future practice and research in the field of the holistic
education in Taiwan.
