1.1 Objective
Our objective is insuring the safety of our customers by melting the snow on their roofs. Climbing on your roof is dangerous, especially raking the snow off roofs. However, if the snow is not removed, your roof could leak or collapse. Dont risk your life, instead; the objective is to provide an easy product that removes that danger at a reasonable price while treating our customers with the ut-most respect.

Of the United States there are 49 out 50 states that will experience snow fall. What is usually a welcoming sing of winter, snow, will injure and lead to death. Winter has a potential fear financially with the general public. With any big snow storm in the near future, people fear the damages coming forth; it could be ice dams or roof collapses. This is all adds up to financial debt. Hot Shingles is an easy installment where it will save you, as a customer. Once installed the winters for any customer will be a breeze. Technology is very important to our company. We try to incorporate many different online aspects to our company to keep us updated with current trends. Not only do we have a website that gives potential customers the opportunity to learn about us, we are also on social media, so our name can be spread around on sites such as Facebook or Twitter. We try to use technology in all parts of our business; as a result we have equipped each mobile unit with a new Dell tablet. This useful tool allows the workers in the field the ability to connect with headquarters with questions, concerns, etc. They also allow people to fill out forms on site, and send them directly to headquarters for processing. This advancement puts all workers and customers at ease.

Our company is entering a high demand industry. Every winter, in the northeastern region, an average of 600,000 people, in the world, die from the misfortunate event of falling off their roof while attempting to get the snow off. Nearly 16,000 people, in the US, are hospitalized by this reoccurring incident. As these numbers increase more and more people are concerned and looking for solutions. Our company, Hot Shingles, has the solution.
4.2 Customers
Our target consumer base consists of upper and middle class citizens who own a house. We also target families or ones who live alone that are in fear of their roof caving in from the past or current winter damage.
