Transaction Documents DOC1 Designer allows you to organize, personalize and present complex information in a Logical, easy to-read manner. Value-added capabilities include: Logic Map Functionality. The DOC1 composition system provides a unique logic map function. You can click on any object in a document to view its corresponding logic, which makes it easier to update, enhance, debug and maintain complex applications. Transaction Tables, Business Logic and Power Objects. Transaction tables handle iterative data, such as call detail records in a telephone bill, with ease. Business logic objects are sub -routines, such as tax calculations or remittance slips that users can call as needed and store in the repository for other users to share. Multi-document Publications. You can assemble multiple documents in a single envelope. For example, you can include a Credit Card statement with a Savings account statement, or customize an application kit with business reply envelopes, targeted brochures and other documents. Text-Heavy Documents DOC1 Designer makes it easy to present in-depth information with greater clarity. Generate flowing columns of text, pagination and tables of content, and take advantage of advanced functionality including: Conditional Documents, Sections, Paragraphs, Images, and Text. Users can display paragraphs and other objects only when certain conditions are met. A Quark extension allows you to easily add personalization to Quark documents within the DOC1 design environment, so you can take advantage of the systems variable composition logic and high-speed production capabilities. Users can also import PDF documents for use as background templates or forms. Support of Layers and Templates. You can include watermarks, logos, copyright text and other information in the background and specify whether it appears on every page or odd/even pages. Information thats on the background layer can be anchored. For example, a user might create a letter template with the address block and bar code in a fixed position so it appears correctly in a window envelope. Full Color (CMYK) Charts and Graphics. A chart wizard lets users create full color bar, stack, line, scatter and pie charts in seconds.
