Financial Controller Sun18 CA 6-8 year post qualification experience

Accurate reporting on Actual and Revenue recognition as per IFRS principles. Provide the overall financial technical advice and assist the Finance head on the management of the Finance and accounts department to ensure the company financial matters are being handled in an efficient and effective manner so as to meet the expectations of the company's stakeholders. P&L ownership and analysis, Monthly reporting and variance analysis. Hold accountability for timely and accurate reporting of profit and loss, expense budget forecasting, capital budgets, cash flows Drive month/quarter/annual close and ensure timely, accurate and complete results reporting and consolidation of financial reporting with listed group companies. Accounts Payable and Receivable management Budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial reporting Ensure cost controls and Monitoring expenditure budgets Monitor timely payments to vendors, employees etc Manage the receivable and payable accounts of the company in an accurate manner which meets the overall financial requirements and deadlines Ensure implementation of company policies. Champion the cause of continuous improvements in internal controls and systems enhancements to ensure efficient control and recording of transactions. Dealing with banks on day to day matters Update on new listing and disclosure requirements Management of fixed asset register and handling insurance of assets Handle statutory, internal and management audit and dealing with auditors. Liaise with auditors as part of annual statutory and management audits of the company and manage the auditing processes of the company which meets the necessary statutory requirements. Review the accounting procedures and systems in a manner that will ensure the company meets all the statutory and regulatory requirements at all times. Co-ordinate with Internal auditors (outsourced agency) in preparation & finalization of Annual Audit Plans, ensure conducting of audit assignments in time, review audit observations /suggestions at SBU/CFO/MD levels along with the Internal Auditors, before presentation to the Audit Sub Committee.

Desired profile: Thorough understanding of IFRS/Indian GAAP and Up to date knowledge/experience of IFRS and Indian GAAP accounting Experience in working with Big 4 consulting firms or experience in large enterprises with multi location environment is preferable Experience in consolidation of accounts with a listed company The incumbent should have excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to communicate technical accounting issues The incumbent should have ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Superior analytical skills including strong PC and ERP literacy (Advanced Excel, Oracle, BO/Hyperion desirable) Strong communication and business partnering FP&A experience Enthusiastic, proactive and willing to travel when required Team-player and have good communication skills Update on new listing and disclosure requirements

Ability to guide team to manage the overall accounts and finance function Worked in Media distribution company
