CONFERENCE GOALS
The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, with the help of University of Belgrade and University of Kragujevac, initiated organization of Scientific Conference on Lean Technologies field of science and practice, with the following goals: to gather the researchers and practitioners from universities, faculties, scientific institutes or other organizations, to enable presentation of new knowledge and exchange of practical experience in the field of lean production, to propose theoretically developed and practically tested solutions for manufacturing and business improvements achieved

a) PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

Authors are kindly asked to submit their abstracts and papers through an electronic paper submission system (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=leantech2012 ). Abstracts and papers sent by email will not be considered.

Prospective conference participants can submit their papers through electronic submission system: (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=leantech2012 ) Papers sent by e-mail will not be accepted

Abstract should be sent as a one B5 page word file (up to 1500 characters). File should contain title of the paper, full name(s) of author(s), affiliate(s), and text with description of Purpose, Design / methodology / approach, Findings, Research limitations / implications (if applicable), Practical implications (if applicable), Social implications (if applicable), Originality / value of the paper, and key words (3-5) Final paper should be sent as a plain word file (about 3 000 words), containing accepted abstract and full text of paper. Representatives of the organizations that are willing to present their achievement in the filed of lean (8. CASES - SUCCESFULL AND UNSUCCESSFULL), can send JUST PPT presentation, that contains title / short description, full name(s) of author(s), affiliate(s) and time period of implementation, on the first slide.

CONFERENCE FEE

All of the expenses that are usualy covered by conference fee are covered by Tempus Project 511084-TEMPUS-1-2010-1-RSTEMPUS-JPHES; LeanEA Production and Profitability improvement in Serbia Enterprises by adopting Lean Thinking Philosophy and strengthening Enterprise Academia connections, so there will be no conference fee.
