Load/Copy/Merge Master Demand Schedule The following training guide describes how to transfer records from various sources to populate a Master Demand Schedule. In the Material Planner responsibility: Navigate to: MDS>Load/Copy/Merge

The Parameters window appears:

Destination Schedule: Enter in the destination you want to be populated.

Source Type:

Use the list option or Cntrl+L to view the options. You may optionally choose between Specific MPS or MDS or source lists.

Source Organization: Enter in the organization from which you are receiving the data. Include Sales Orders: Optionally, you can include sales orders on the load. This functionality is usually utilized with Master Demand schedules Sales Order Demand Class: If you elected to include sales orders then you could optionally select a particular demand class of sales orders to load. Demand Time Fence: Optionally, choose to use the demand time fence in determining what data to load. Overwrite: Optionally, choose to overwrite the entire destination schedule or overwrite only that data which was previously loaded from the same source. You may also go with the default of No which will add the data from the source to the destination schedule. Enter in the date you want the load to look as a starting point. Any data scheduled before this will not be brought across. Enter in the date you want the load to look at as an ending point. Optionally, explodes planning BOM or Product Family BOM to component level data. Optionally, choose to load current quantity information or the original source information. Optionally, choose to have the load perform consumption.

Modification Percent: Optionally, you may modify the loaded data by a percentage Carry Forward Days: Enter in the number of days you want the last bucket to carry forward.

Forward Consumption Days: Enter in the number of days to look forward for quantities to consume against. Backward Consumption Days: Enter in the number of days into the past the load will look for quantities to consume against. Outlier Percent: OK: Enter in the maximum percentage any one requirement can consume. This will help to smooth any unexpected spikes. Once you have entered in the desired parameter information, hit the OK button at the bottom of the form. This will take you to the request option form.

The Load/Copy/Merge Master Demand Schedule window appears:

Choose the Submit button to launch your request.
