A proxy server is created for the main server for security purposes and for the maintenance of the data, a firewall is setup in the router. As the company will be ecommerce enabled, the retailers and the customers will be able to make the enquiries and place their orders easily on their websites. Main Server room/Secretarys Room: The secretarys office is an important location as the main server and the network printer will be located in secretarys room. This room will also physically secure the main components. The server
room will be under 24 hour video surveillance and air conditioned so that it could be used to get the heat to be cooled for 24 x 7. We have replaced the router and the server room itself and the network wiring will be done with the Ethernet cable CAT 6. The whole office will be provided with an internet connection to be connected to the server room. In case of power loss or any contingency, an inverter will also be installed in the server room which will automatically allow the server to save the important data by giving it enough time; so that the data will not be lost.
