What is Biodiversity ???

Present by Amelia Suhaila

Classification of Organisms

Is the branch of Biology

The organisms can be easily

concerned with the identification , naming and classification of organisms.

Systematic method of

classifying plants and animals based on their characteristic and similarities.

and accurately identified and enables scientists to communicate accurately and precisely with one another.

Hierarchy in the classification of organisms

For this hierarchy, the most largest group is

kingdom, and the most smallest group is species. Its can be divided into seven main group.

Hierarchy in the classification of organisms

Organism in same group have the same characteristics .
So, its will be different to the other group.
For example,
Organism in same phylum have the same

characteristics, but differ from the other phyla. Organism in same class have same characteristics, but differ from other classes.

Linnaeus Binomial System.

Introduce by Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus also known as Father of Taxonomy

This system is used to naming the organism scientifically at international level. An organism is named with two Latin names. The first name is the genus name. The second name is the specific name that is the species. How to write the name ??? Both must in Latin. The genus name begins with capital letter; while the species name begin with small letter. Printed in italics. If handwritten, each name is underlined separately.

What the importance of Linnaeus Binomial system ???

This system is used to get the accurate name and; Avoid confusion over the name of the organism. It also ensures that the naming of organism is systematically.

What is the Importance of Biodiversity ???

Food
Pollination

Organic Oils

Medicine

Provide various of biological product.

Rubber Timber

Carbon cycle and climate

Provide many enviromental services to human.
