Love Lifted Me
I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more: But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry. From the waters lifted me, now safe am I. All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him Ill cling, In His blessed presence live, ever His praises sing: Love so mighty and so true merits my souls best songs: Faithful loving service, too, to Him belongs. Souls in danger, look above, Jesus completely saves: He will lift you by his love out of the angry waves: Hes the Master of the Sea, bellows His will obey: He your Saviour wants to be, be saved today! Love lifted me! Love lifted me! When nothing else could help, Love lifted me ! Hallelujah!

This takes me back to where I used to be when rejection as a child, And betrayal by those I learned to trust, and divorce from the man I adored , left me very bewildered, and wondering what I could have done differently that could have prevented these things happening to me, and yes, I was very deeply stained within, so I turned to friends for help, only to hear what sounds an inadequate attempts to minimise our pain..most of us can relate to one or more of these situations. So what do we do ? At this point I had to Trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not on my own understanding. God had the plan for my life, and He was working it out for my good and His glory !! So He heard my despairing cry, from the waters lifted me now safe am I ...I gave Him my life, ever to Him Ill cling, In His blessed presence live, ever His praises Ill sing. He wants to be your Saviour too, so look above, Jesus completely Saves, He will lift you by His love out of the angry waves. Love lifted me ! Love lifted me ! When nothing else could help Love lifted me .Hallelujah !!!!!
