High-Speed Internet now available in Upstate New York Northeast Satellite Sales now offers ExedeTM Satellite Internet Service with up to 12 Mbps Download Speed.
Jeff Ash announced that it is now providing ExedeTM high speed internet service to Upstate New York area. Exede Internet offers speeds up to 12 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and up to 3 Mbps upstream beginning at $49.99 per month. ViaSat, the provider of well-known WildBlue Internet service, recently launched this new internet service, which brings together the highest capacity satellite in the world, state-of-the-art ground equipment and breakthrough web acceleration technology, all optimized to deliver high speed, high quality, streaming to consumers. Since the launch in January, tens of thousands of customers nationwide have already signed up for the new, faster Exede service. The response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. As a local dealer serving this community for many years. Im very pleased to be the first retailer in this area to provide very fast Internet to the new and existing customers who have never been able to get speeds like this in the past, said Jeff Ash. My initial customers are thrilled with the speed and reliability of Exede, and were gearing up to provide service to many more customers here in Upstate New York. I had no idea that satellite internet service could deliver this kind of speed, said Paul Rehm, a regional sales consultant based in Iowa, who was among the first customers to receive the service in the country. Make no mistake, Exede is screaming internet. According to another early subscriber who lives outside a major urban area. Exede Internet is better than the DSL service I had, said entrepreneur Ray Rodriguez. Its about four times as fast. Everyone who has seen a demonstration of new Exede at our office has been impressed-its that fast, said Jeff Ash. For more information and to order the service, please contact Jeff Ash at 468 Lick Springs Road, Greenwich, NY 12834 (518) 695-4337.

SEED PACKETS- Vegetables!...Herbs!...Flowers! There is still plenty of time to sprinkle some seeds in the ground (or in a pot or two) and enjoy a garden this spring and summer. With the seed kits available from Cornell Cooperative Extension in Warren County you can have a healthy vegetable garden and add some herbs and flowers for good measure! A small garden is fineand it can be very productive. A 4 X 4 foot space would provide a good amount of healthy fresh vegetables for your salads over the summer. Its as simple as pushing a few seeds into some good, light, soil in a sunny location, keeping the plants watered if it gets too hot and dry outside, and then watching your garden grow! All the directions for each type of vegetable, herb, or flower, are included in the seed kits. There are two CCE Seed Kits availablethe Garden Vegetable Salad Kit which contains: Carrots, Cucumber, Lettuce, Tomato and Radish, and the Herb and Flower Garden Kit which contains: Basil, Parsley, Marigold, Sunflower and an Annual Flower Mix. Each kit is only $5. Please give us a call at 623-3291 for information or stop in any time Monday through Thursdayour office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office is located at: 377 Schroon River Road, Warrensburg, NY 12885. We can accept cash or checks. Checks can be made payable to: CCE-Warren County. Hrs: M-Thu 5:30am-10pm. Fr 5:30am-9pm. www.physicaladvantage.net Sa 8am-6pm. Sun 8am-2pm POSTER & T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST- The Rensselaer County Agricultural and Horticultural Society, otherwise known as the Schaghticoke Fair, is extremely excited to announce an opportunity to high school students, currently enrolled in grades 9-12, throughout Rensselaer County, to compete in a Poster Design Contest and/or a T-Shirt Design Contest announcing our 2012 fair-wide theme Happy Feet. Happy Feet is a concept that was introduced by two of our very own building superintendents here at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds. They have used the concept of a theme the past few years in the Family Living Center to increase fair entries, add an element of creativity to a standard entry or exhibit and to drive fairgoers into their building. We are excited to bring this idea fair-wide and create an environment that is not only fun for kids but adults as well. We will be introducing Happy Feet into our buildings, exhibits, the grandstand, our entertainment in the park and in our marketing, advertising and promotions of the 2012 Schaghticoke Fair. Students who are interested in coming up with a Happy Feet design for the fair can contact their schools art teacher or principal or can call the Schaghticoke Fair for a complete listing of all the elements that are to be included in the design(s). All entries must be submitted by June 15 to your art teacher at school. Winners of each design contest will be notified as their work will be used in the marketing, advertising and promotions of the 2012 Schaghticoke Fair, including but not limited to the cover of the fair brochure, t-shirts, posters, the fairs new website (www.schaghtiockefair.org) and Facebook page. A certificate of achievement will be presented to the winners on stage in the park at the fair on a selected day. In addition, all students who enter the design contests will receive a free one day pass to the fair and will be able to view their artwork on display in the Family Living Center. For more information on how to enter a design, please call Mary at the Schaghticoke Fair office, 753-4411, x13.
