PG&E Comprehensive Cycle


All certificated employees during first four years of certificated employment All certificated employees new to SPS Employees in level 1 schools, schools that opted-in, or individuals that opted-in who were on General cycle in 2010-11 Employees in level 1 schools, schools that opted-in, or individuals that opted-in who did not meet the performance schedule in 2010-11 Employees in level 2 schools that are teachers of tested subjects in grades 3-5 and grades 7-10 Employees whose schools have opted-in for 2011-12 and are teachers of tested subjects in grades 3-5 and grades 7-10 Individuals who opted in for 2011-12 and are teachers of tested subjects in grades 3-5 and grades 7-10 Teachers removed from PGC

PG&E General Cycle


Employees in level 1 schools, schools that opted-in, or individuals that opted-in who were on Comprehensive cycle in 2010-11 and met the performance schedule Employees in level 2 schools who are teachers in nontested subject areas or teachers in Grades K-2, 6, 11, 12 Employees whose schools have opted-in for 2011-12 and are teachers in non- tested subject areas or teachers in Grades K-2, 6, 11, 12 Individuals who opt-in for 2011-12 and are teachers in non- tested subject areas or teachers in Grades K-2, 6, 11, 12

Performance Cycle
Employees whose school has not opted into the PG&E and were on Performance Cycle prior to 2010-11

Professional Growth Cycle


Employees with more than 4 years satisfactory experience whose school has not opted into the PG&E and were on Professional Growth Cycle prior to 2010-11

Supervision & Evaluation Activities


Goal Setting Conference using form First observation (at least 30 minutes) - contact your LR/ER manager if performance problems have been identified Second observation for YR 3 provisional (at least 30 minutes) Second observation for YR 1&2 provisional and continuing contracts (at least 30 minutes) Third observation for YR 3 provisional (at least 30 minutes) Evaluation Form reviewed, signed, and dated by employee and evaluator Year End Reflection, if using MAP data, added to previously signed evaluation document Completed Evaluation sent to Executive Director Executive Director forwards completed evaluations to HR
