General Purpose: Oversee the companys strategic marketing goals and objectives. Implement and maintain the Lyon brand image and message in advertising, collateral materials online marking campaigns, merchandising, market research and pr. In order to achieve the general purpose of this position the following duties may be required: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate with Executive Vice President of Operations, Director of Marketing and team member to develop and maintain a marketing and pr plan/strategy that is consistent with the company and department goals, Lyon brand, corporate policies and procedures. Provide a plan/strategy that includes accurate tracking/monitoring of budget, ad sources, marketing promotions, marketing events and marketing objectives. Create and implement new Lyon branded marketing collateral, website and promotional campaigns including new community campaigns and strategies. Collaborate with team to create a comprehensive market research program including consistent tracking and reporting methodology. Oversee all revisions, clarifications and roll out of new print ads, online marketing campaigns, marketing promotions events and pr. Establish annual budget and plan for team and manage expenses accordingly. Assist Executive Vice President of Operations with opening of new communities, including managing the community branding, advertising plan and creative, signage interior merchandising and other duties as needed. Work with property staff to teach off-site marketing and resident retention techniques including the implementation of the Preferred Employer, Resident Ambassador, Lyon Corporate Living Programs Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications. Promote new creative marketing and operational ideas to the marketing team. Act as the marketing liaison between CA Corporate and the regional offices where applicable. Accountability: Demonstrates a commitment to the Company Mission. Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with Employees and vendors. Must be outgoing and assertive, highly motivated self starter. Requires great communication, organization and networking skills. Ability to give and take basic direction, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities of managing and directing two Marketing Coordinators and marketing, pr and interior design consultants.

Education and/or Experience/Licenses and/or Certificates: Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university required plus at least five years of marketing experience in a management capacity Advertising, PR and/ or new construction experience a plus. Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent communication and written skills. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, the employee must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. . Ability to understand and is proficient in Social Networking, Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per Click, Mobile Marketing and online Reputation Management. Ability to write basic marketing/advertising copy.
