Carlisle Area School District Elementary Learning Support Teacher o June 2008 Present
Developed and delivered lessons in alignment with the State of Pennsylvania Standards, ensuring differentiation methods were employed to meet the needs of various learning styles in the classroom. Selected to be the special education representative on the Carlisle Area School Districts Leadership Committee focusing on the implementation of Response to Intervention. Member of the LeTort Elementary Proficiency Team that meets regularly to review student data and use data to drive decision making focused on instruction and interventions. Conducted reading intervention programs, including SRA Corrective Reading, to both students with and without disabilities.
Wrote Individualized Education Programs, including revisions, and maintained special education paperwork. Experienced co-teacher working with a variety of grade levels in the area of math.
