Anthony Horn has been active in the Houston engineering community since thelate1960s.Hehasdegreesinbothengineeringandarchitecture,andhas doneawidevarietyofdraftinganddesignprojects. Hisschool,theHornDrafting&CADCenter,hastrainedover5000graduates for Houstons industries. His school was the first in Houston to offer computer aided drafting (CAD) to the public in 1982. Thecourseincludesover150videorecordingsanda350pageworkbook.AnthonyHornsotherpublications includecopyrightedtrainingcourseswrittenforuseathisHoustonschool,andhewasacontributingauthorto TheCAD/CAMHandbook(McGrawHill,1985)andPipeDrafting&Design(GulfPublishing,1995). In2011AnthonyHorncreatedthehttp://www.PipingDesignOnline.comwebsiteforonlineCADWorxtraining. Thesiteincludescoursesthatstudentscantaketoadvancetheirskillsandearncertificates.Thesitealsocan accommodateprivatetrainingareasandsitelicensesforcompaniesthatwantacustomizedsolutionfortheir inhouseCADWorxtrainingneeds.Sinceitsinception,thistrainingwebsitehastrainedsubscribersfrommore than35countries.
