Background of the study:

International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) has decided that each and every participants of BBA course has to prepare and submit a Internship Report as partial fulfillment of their program. As it is expected from the participants that besides theoretical knowledge, every participants should have practical, hand on knowledge and field work, which provide a participant a great opportunity to achieve a very comprehensive and complete learning. According to fulfill the requirement the Researcher has chosen to work on Total Quality Management practices in some selected profit based Bank in Bangladesh. Therefore, this study report is the outcome of an academic need as well as practical knowledge and the outmost and enthusiastic intention of the Researcher under the proper and in-depth guidance of a highly experienced dedicated guide.

Objective of the study:


The main objective of this study is to implement Total Quality Management in different level of profit based Banks in Bangladesh. There are some specific objectives to achieve the main objective. This specific objective is given below: To focus an overview of profit based Banks in Bangladesh. To identify the critical factors of employees involvement in profit based organization in Bangladesh. To measure the employees ongoing education and training to develop employees skill. To identify the service quality to their bank. To identify the customer satisfaction.

To identify consumers satisfaction. To suggest some recommendation to overcome the problem.

Methodology of the study:


Methodology is the process or system through which a study is being carried out for the purpose of collection of information that is required in collection with the study for reaching a conclusion on that study. The scope of the study is limited to a total number of three organizations taking twenty five (25) each from Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd, EXIM Bank Ltd and Shahajalal Islamic Bank Bangladesh Ltd. The main reason for selecting these organizations were easy access to collect necessary data.

The sample of the study comprised with seventy five (75) executives working in three (03) different Banks namely Islami Bank Bangladesh, EXIM Bank and Shahajalal Islamic Bank. Primary Source of Data: Face to face conversation with the employee Personal & depth interview Through questionnaire

Performance records

Limitation of the study:


There are some limitations of study, which are given below:

i.

Lack of time: The time period for this study was very short. I get short time for prepared report, which was not enough.

ii.

Fear to give data: Some of the respondents were afraid of providing information freely and some showed less interest an such assignment.

iii.

Lack of Knowledge: some employees was not proper knowledge about hole information.

iv.

Sufficient records, publications, facts and figures are not available.

v. vi.

Availability of the Respond: Another limitation of this report is banks policy of not disclosing some data and information for obvious reason which could be very much useful.
