Student Life Board: January 2010- December 2010 Position: President, College Governance Liaison Oversaw executive board that coordinated student programming, student government, and finance committee of the Associated Students of Brookdale Community College, a group representing 16000 full-time equivalent students at two campuses and four regional locations with a budget of over $900,000 Conducted weekly meetings that informed the campus community on student programming and college issues Represented student government in Governance forums, committees, college wide administrative committees, and at campus events Tirelessly advocated for student issues; including the successful effort against the proposed cancellation of the 833 Monmouth Local NJ Transit Bus Line serving the Lincroft campus and facilitation of a campus-wide forum that allowed smokers and non-smokers to share their views about smoking on Brookdale property Participated in various leadership training opportunities including monthly Brookdale club presidents meetings, the College Student Leader Network session at Mercer County College, and an outdoor adventure program in Jim Thorpe, PA College Governance: August 2009- May 2010 Position: Steering Committee Student Rep.
