Documentation and Scientific validation of Herbal Drugs by Both in-vitro and in-vivo animal experiment models and Development of herbal formulation based on the documented study. Performing animal experiments for pharmacological and toxicological evaluation.

RESEARCH PROPOSED: Mangifera indica Linn.var.Alphonso is a member of Anacardiaceae family has more medicinal values, so that the Plant was taken its Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical and Pharmacological Evaluation. Pharmacognostical studies include Macroscopical, Microscopical, Phytochemical studies including IR, NMR, MASS finger print profile for the structural elucidation of isolated compound. Pharmacological Evaluation showed it has a good Neuroprotective. Its antimutagenic effect was determined in Drosophila melanogaster by in-vivo model which give the plant has no toxic effect.
