REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: MINI UNMANNED AIR VEHICLE (UAV) SYSTEM 1.

The Indian Army is planning to procure Mini Unmanned Air Vehicle.

With a view to identify probable vendors who can undertake the said project, the OEMs / Vendors are requested to forward information on the product which they can offer. The parameters / board specifications of the item are mentioned in the questionnaire attached as Appendix A. In addition the vendors are required to furnish details as per Performa at Appendix B. 2. Apart from the information as per the Appendices the vendors are

also requested to forward technical details / product brochures / literature etc pertaining to the item in question. 3. CHARACTERISTICS 5. Weight. The weight of one AV with its MPGCS,

backpack(s) (where required), one launch and recovery system (where required) and one set of Optical Sensors should not be more than 35 Kg. 6. Launch and Recovery. It should be possible to

launch and recover the AV within an area of 50 metres by 50 metres. In case of a wheeled launch / recovery the AV should takeoff / land from an unpaved surface in a distance of not more than 50 metres.

Man Portable Ground Control Station (MPGCS) 14. (a) Be capable of providing real time video from the day sensor of minimum 1280 by 720 pixels resolution at not less than 20 frames per second. (c) Store minimum 120 minutes output on board the AV at minimum 1280 x 720 pixels resolution along with synchronised telemetry data for post flight evaluation. (d) The output of the video camera may be transmitted at a lower resolution of minimum 640 x 480 pixels 20 frames per second. 19. Monochromatic Night Thermal Sensor (IR). (a) Provide real time video of minimum 640 by 480 pixels resolution at not less than 20 frames per second. (b) (c) Radio Relay (RR) 20.
