Once there was a village named Dhanpur. It was summer season and the heat was very scorching.

At the end of the village there was a deep jungle. The climate there was very cool as compared to the village. The men from Dhanpur and neighbouring villages entered the jungle and cut off the trees randomly for their own needs and sell purpose.

The animals and birds were talking amongst themselves that men are said to have brain, they are intelligent but they do not understand the simple thing that trees are important and need to be maintained. Next day early morning Jumpoo the Jiraffe called all the animals and birds for going to Jungle School.

As they entered the classroom Share sir Tiger announced the jungle picnic and all were rejoiced and started planning it. The class was over and all animals and birds went to their homes. The day of picnic arrived and all were before time in school. They entered the school bus and went towards jungle.

In the jungle they went to remote place and there they saw a big laughing tree. All animals and birds thought it was grandly welcoming them. They came near the tree and asked her the name. The tree replied ,my name is Prestige tree, I am nearly 2000 years age and seeing the changed climate.

In between Chunky the deer asked why the climate has become so hot when trees are there. Prestige tree replied, trees are there but they are too less to control climate due to cutting off by men. Dear friends I will tell you the story of trees listen carefully.

Man knows the study of plants and animals in relation to the environment is known as ecology. The ecologist must look at the way all animals and plants depend upon each other for their very existence in a complex natural web. Plants and animals have feelings and they want to share them with men but they are afraid. People living in nature are happier.

Suddenly a noise is heard by them, the animals went in that direction and saw some men coming towards Prestige tree saying it is one of the oldest tree we would get more money. But seeing the animals like tiger, jiraffe, deer and other dangerous animals and birds the men ran out of the jungle and the life of Prestige tree was saved.

Prestige tree was happy and thanked all the animals and birds. Share Sir called all the students and they went back to school. Share Sir asked whether they like the picnic? All shouted,Yes Sir! We got the information about the trees and their value. When the bell rang all shouted SAVE TREES, GROW TREES TO SAVE EARTH
