ACADEMIC PROJECT

Title : PLC BASED HEA TREATMENT PROCESS

Duration : 3 Months
Team Size : 6 Members
Client : Mangal Precision Products
Company : Amarraja Bateries

Description : The main aim of the project is to control the paramenters like
temperature, speed, current, voltage by using PLC ( Programmable Logic controller )
PLC is a device, which is capable of being programmed to perform a controlling
function. The first Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) was developed by a group
of engineers at General Motors in 1968,when the company were looking for an
alternative to replace complex relay contol systems.

The new control system had the following advantages :
