I applied to Capgemini because it has a reputation for being a people company. This may not sound particularly meaningful, but it means youre recognised for personal skills and merits, not age or grade. It also means the type of people you work alongside are approachable, interested in your development and, most importantly, friendly!

Collaboration is really important at Capgemini. Being very competitive I have always been suspicious of the term collaboration. However, Capgemini has taught me that if another Capgemini team or a third party can help us to deliver a better solution with the client, then we will utilise those skills for the benet of the client and overall delivery. You can achieve more by working with others than you could by yourself.

Placements.
Our placement programme offers undergraduates a sandwich year with Capgemini that begins in the autumn and completes the following summer. Over the course of the programme, you will gain exposure to a range of technology and business experiences. What our graduates say.

One of the things I found appealing was the range of companies, organisations and market sectors that Capgemini works for. I have found myself continuously developing and applying new skills. Whenever Ive found myself getting too comfortable, a new and completely different challenge has presented itself. For me, Capgemini is all about working together in an environment that is mutually supportive, with the guidance to set you on the correct path, but with the freedom to map out your own journey. Early exposure to clients enables you to hone and develop your skills. I joined Capgemini because I didnt want a 9 to 5 job. I wanted a job where I had travel opportunities, constant change and, most importantly, challenge. I got what I asked for! The environment and the people at Capgemini are very inspirational. I feel very engaged, encouraged and enthused. I enjoy the opportunities Capgemini presents to work with highly impressive team members. Their diverse backgrounds, experiences and mindsets continue to offer thought-provoking perspectives, stimulating conversation and rich learning opportunities. I decided to join Capgemini because I really liked the atmosphere of the company and the fact that everyone was so friendly. Capgemini has helped me understand and achieve my potential.
