Originally incorporated in 2003, Dot Church sought to become the world's leading faith based domain name registry by introducing and selling the ".church" domain names, a new extension that offered greater relevance and meaning than current faith based website addresses ending in .com, .net, .org and other top-level domains. Sampson collaborated with New.net, an idealab! incubator company to make this happen. This collection of never before publicly released documents chronicle Sampson and his team's journey from 2002 - 2006 to create, champion and innovate this global cause that would serve to distinguish churches and ministries of all religious beliefs that tend to be homogenized amongst the millions upon millions of websites and online properties that exist today. Although Sampson was before his time with this start-up, his definitive and prophetic insight envisioned and written more than a decade ago provides Craig Groeschel and Bobby Gruenewald at LifeChurch.TV and the Kingdom marketplace with divine confirmation that it is now time to bring the .church domain extension to the world as a top-level domain.     Business Technology Group (BTG) is a woman owned company that has been in business since 1990. We have approximately 40 employees in two offices, one in Chicago (known as Braxton-Reed, Inc) and one in Atlanta Georgia. BTG is an Information Technology Consulting and Software Development firm committed to excellence through the process of continuous internal improvement. Our Mission is to INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY, PRODUCTIVITY AND PROFITABILITY OF OUR CLIENTS THROUGH THE EFFECTIVE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.     Our Recommendation

    BTG is very interested in finishing this project so that DotChurch can start to recognize revenue. What BTG presents here completes the site and makes it ready for ad campaigns and other forms of advertising to begin.

    Your project has 4 main activities: Integration of Pauls design in a ASP format Integration with the selected merchant account vendor for the domain name purchases Integration with the bulk register API Delivery of site to hosting facility

    Web Site Construction

    Paul has completed the basic site design. We have worked out a methodology that Paul and Scott will use to put the rest of the site together. The site will consist of the following options: Welcome page Search for a domain name function Buy a domain name function Buy a hosting agreement function Sign on from an affiliate function Manage affiliate program page Go daddy type email after someone purchases a domain (optional) Multi-lingual domain buying (optional) Detailed sales reporting

    This site will be developed and deployed on the hosting provider of choice. As an added feature ($300) BTG can submit your site to all relevant web search engines and give you a free one year subscription on the Atlanta city portal

    Project Time Line and Projected costs The complete project is approximately 2 weeks in duration. Below is a project budget to accomplish the work outlined above. BTG can start within 1 week of you signing a letter of intent to get started.

    BTG would like to point out that we are providing project management at no charge. Also of note are the items outlined in green above. The green items are what we consider optional for the first version of the site. Developing the site

    using a phased approach can lead to considerable savings (approximately $4,662 for the entire cost instead of the $6,237).

    While BTG intends to complete the project within the timeframe outlined, the duration of this engagement will be dependent upon the availability of client personnel to provide content and feedback. This is not a fixed bid. BTG works on a time and materials basis; you will only get billed for time that we actually work on your project. To get started on this project a 50% down payment of $3,118.50 will be necessary. ($2,331 if the phased approach is acceptable) We will work against that until it is exhausted at which point we will bill weekly.
