Welcome Message from the Vice-Principal

To my much-loved Students, Parents, Supporters and Friends of HCEC, Inc:
I hope you have had a restful and pleasant summer vacation. With grateful heart, I welcome you all to another promising school year at Holy Child Educational Center, Inc.! This school year 2012-2013 will present new challenges to all of us some new and returning students, new staffmembers, new textbooks, and new school heads. The first week of school is always exciting with lots of things to look forward to. New pals for sure, which section to be in, whos gonna be the class adviser and subject teachers, any new teachers around? These are some of the multitude of questions and the vast answers. So much to share with long-standing friends. Hence, the first week of school has a special fascination in an HCEC students life. This summer 2012 had been a busy time for me training new teachers who worked hard to prepare this exciting new school year. They attended instructive planning and training during the summer months, working hard to meet the varied educational needs of our students. We promise to work our hardest and do our best because our HCECians deserve no less. And so, to meet the challenge of the 21st century along with the implementation of the DepEds K + 12 program and curriculum, HCECi this year is adopting some re-alignment of the said curriculum. The 21st century skills embedded in the different curricula will pave the way for our students to think, reflect, analyze, and communicate as a person who will lead in the 21st century global society. Expect many and diverse learning experiences this year. HCECi understands that its learning facilities must grow and expand with its students. For our Junior High School students, nothing is cooler than the newly-installed Science Laboratories, the new Playhouse for the Preschool pupils, and the accessible new School Canteen situated at the Multi-Purpose Center. The computer laboratory still offers quality computer education with upgrades that will suit the tecky-driven students with its new software for e-learning education. I am very enthusiastic about working with you to meet the challenge of educating our most precious resource, our pupils, the HCECians. I hope that they, too, will take advantage of everything HCECi has to offer by pursuing their personal best in academic and ARA activities, and have an enjoyable, rewarding, and enduring learning experience at HCECi this year.
