0 Check List: Receipt/Storage/Pre-Erection/Erection/Testing and Commissioning 2.0 Material: CW/ACW Pumps/RAW Water Pumps/DM Transfer Pumps/Other Pumps ETP/PTP/FWP etc. 3.0 RECEIPT & STORAGE: 1. Check for proper receipt of material as per delivery Challan and invoice along with Test Certificate and prepare item shortage/damage list with respect to delivery Challan. 2. Insure that material is properly stored in clean, accessible area with proper stacking of material. Area should not be uneven and water logged and material is stacked as per manufacturers recommendation if any. 4.0 Pre-Erection/Erection: 1. Check for any damage to pump shaft, bellmouth piece, motor, stool pieces. 2. Assembly of the pump is done as per the drawing. 3. Check for correctness and tightness of bolts and nuts with proper alignment of the equipment. 4. Ensure for proper foundation as per foundation diagram. 5. Ensure for proper availability of instruction manual and drawings, lifting facility. 6. Availability of lifting tools and tackles with valid load certificate. Check for the condition of EOT Crane. 5.0 Testing and Commissioning: 1. Visual checks for correct installation of equipment by verifying name plate rating with drawing and check for correct layout. Check for correct earthing of the equipment. 2. Check for proper cooling water lines are done as per the drawing. 3. Check for proper greasing has been done if applicable with the manufacturers instruction manual. 4. Check for proper grade of lubricant oil is used and filled upto the mark in the equipment as per manufacturers instruction manual. 5. Check for correct termination of cable, lugging, proper ferruling and proper termination at CT and PT box ensuring proper tightness. 6. Check for all the Temp gauges, Pressure gauges are properly fixed at positions. 7. Check for correct rotation of the motor before coupling with the pump. 8. Check for required parameters of temp, pressure of the pump. 9. Record all the parameters in the data sheet.

DM PLANT 1.0 Check List: Receipt/Storage/Pre-Erection/Erection/Testing and Commissioning 2.0 Material: DM Plant 3.0 RECEIPT & STORAGE: 1. Check for proper receipt of material as per delivery Challan and invoice along with Test Certificate and prepare item shortage/damage list with respect to delivery Challan. 2. Insure that material is properly stored in clean, accessible area with proper stacking of material. Area should not be uneven and water logged and material is stacked as per manufacturers recommendation if any. 3. Check for proper storage, type of storage as per storage manual of manufacturer. 4.0 Pre-Erection/Erection: 1. Check for any damage to Tanks, UF/RO Membranes etc. 2. Assembly of the Tanks, Interconnecting lines, Pumps etc is done as per the drawing. 3. Check for correctness and tightness of bolts and nuts with proper alignment of the equipment. 4. Ensure for proper foundation of the Tanks, Pumps etc as per foundation diagram. 5. Ensure for proper availability of instruction manual and drawings, lifting facility etc. 6. Availability of lifting tools and tackles with valid load certificate. Check for the condition of EOT Crane. 7. Check for whether interconnecting piping is done with respective to the drawings provided. 5.0 Testing and Commissioning: 1. Visual checks for correct installation of equipment by verifying name plate rating with drawing and check for correct layout. Check for correct earthing of the equipment/pumps. 2. Check for proper amount of Resin and Chemicals are added into the respective tanks. 3. Check for proper greasing has been done if applicable with the manufacturers instruction manual. 4. Check for proper grade of lubricant oil is used and filled upto the mark in the equipment as per manufacturers instruction manual. 5. Check for correct termination of cable, lugging, proper ferruling and proper termination at CT and PT box ensuring proper tightness. 6. Check for all the Temp gauges, Pressure gauges are properly fixed at positions. 7. Check for correct rotation of the motor before coupling with the pump. 8. Check for required parameters of temp, pressure of the pump. 9. Check for DM water quality by taking samples at required intervals of time at each stage of the process. 10. Check for the flow meters placed as per the drawings. 11. Record all the parameters in the data sheet.

PIPING 1.0 Check List: Receipt/Storage/Erection/Testing and Commissioning 2.0 Material: CW/ACW Pumps/RAW Water Pumps/DM Transfer Pumps/Other Pumps ETP/PTP/FWP etc. 3.0 RECEIPT & STORAGE: 1. Check for proper receipt of material as per delivery Challan and invoice along with Test Certificate and prepare item shortage/damage list with respect to delivery Challan. 2. Insure that material is properly stored in clean, accessible area with proper stacking of material. Area should not be uneven and water logged and material is stacked as per manufacturers recommendation if any. 4.0 Pre-Erection/Erection/Testing and Commissioning: 1. Check for whether NDE carried out. 2. Check for Welding procedures. 3. Removal of all items subject to damage during flushing, cleaning and pressure testing. 4. Flushing of pipe work. 5. Ensure for Chemical cleaning and testing of pipe work. 6. Check for Drying of tested pipe work. 7. Ensure for Preservation of tested pipe work. 8. Reinstatement of all items after testing. 9. Final inspection of pipe work. 10. Test ISO's and P&ID's showing the extent of each pressure test. 11. Check for Pneumatic and hydraulic tubing. 12. Hot oil flushing of pipe work. 13. Bolt tensioning. 14. Check for Pipe supports completed. 15. Check for proper Insulation.
