We scope out some delicious dining deals this week in KL. At Hotel Maya and the Intercontinental grab a piece of cake and some coffee, while at ilLido you can take your secretary out for a special Secretaries' Week lunch.

1. Cake at Ramah Tapah

This cosy deli highlights a cake each month and in April its the Gateau Cake. This is a mlange of apple and cinnamon on a dense cake base. This is priced at RM 9 per slice and RM 85 per kg. This scrumptious four-course set lunch opens with a baked eggplant parmigiana, followed by Executive Chef Andrea Zanellas signature squid ink taglierini with crab and saffron. Next on the menu is a pan-roasted seabream with lobster sauce, or meat lovers can choose the duck breast with sweet onions and grain mustard sauce. Finish it off with a molten lava chocolate cake.
