CHARACTERISTICS & ATTRIBUTES OF A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR: 1.

Self-confident: to succeed in the highly competitive business world, confidence and trust in one self is an indispensable trait. Self-confidence means trusting your own powers a nd capabilities. The world of entrepreneurship is not alien to failure and disap pointments. To survive in such a cutthroat world, an entrepreneur must have the ability to look within himself and find the drive and persistence to pursue his enterprise. An entrepreneur must have the gumption to face any adversity and tac kle any problems that may be met in the world of business. 2.The ability to adapt to changing circumstances:Rather than resisting change, entrepreneurs have the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances and conditions. In fact, many entrepreneurs thrive on cha nge. On the negative side, some are so thrilled by change that they will force i t, even when things are going perfectly. 3.Problem solving:When others focus on existing problems, entrepreneurs focus on possible solution s. There is always a solution. There is always a problem. For most people, a pro blem is an impediment. For the entrepreneur, a problem is an opportunity to disc over or create a better solution. 4. Energy:Entrepreneurs are energetic. They put in more work hours than most people. They also often play hard and competitively. They are usually too busy working or pla ying to be spectators. This high personal energy level translates as constant en thusiasm and personal charisma. This enthusiasm and charisma attracts other peop le into the game plan of the entrepreneur. 5.Tenacity:This is a big attribute. The obstacles that cause many people to quit are minor setbacks for the true entrepreneur. Winners persist. Losers desist. It is often that simple personality difference that separates the happy successful person fr om the frustrated failure. 6. Risk tolerance:The entrepreneur has a high tolerance for risk. The average person is afraid of doing something in case they fail. The true entrepreneur knows that failing to a ttempt something is a greater failure than trying and not succeeding. What others may judge as a risky situation, entrepreneurs see as an opportunity for a higher reward. 7.Creativity:-One facet of creativity is being able to make connections between seemingly unrelated events or situations. Entrepreneurs often come up with solu tions which are the synthesis of other items. They will repurpose products to ma rket them to new industries. 8.Open minded:Entrepreneurs realize that every event and situation is a business opportunity. Ideas are constantly being generated about workflows and efficiency, people skil ls and potential new businesses. They have the ability to look at everything aro und them and focus it toward their goals. 1. Disciplined These individuals are focused on making their businesses work, and eliminate any hindrances or distractions to their goals. They have overarching strategies and outline the tactics to accomplish them. Successful entrepreneurs are discipline d enough to take steps every day toward the achievement of their objectives.

Th ey are proactive, not waiting for someone to give them permission. 3. Competitive Many companies are formed because an entrepreneur knows that they can do a job b etter than another. They need to win at the sports they play and need to win at the businesses that they create. An entrepreneur will highlight their own compan y s track record of success. 4. Determination Entrepreneurs are not thwarted by their defeats. They look at defeat as an oppor tunity for success. They are determined to make all of their endeavors succeed, so will try and try again until it does. Successful entrepreneurs do not believe that something cannot be done. 5. They are very good at highlighting the benefits o f any situation and coaching others to their success. 6. Strong work ethic The successful entrepreneur will often be the first person to arrive at the offi ce and the last one to leave. They will come in on their days off to make sure t hat an outcome meets their expectations. Their mind is constantly on their work, whether they are in or out of the workplace. 7. Passion Passion is the most important trait of the successful entrepreneur. They genuine ly love their work.
