Please indicate how and when you became interested in UWIDDS. Answer- University of Washington is one of the best dental schools in the United States. The DDS program offered by this school is highly competitive and professional. This school is also known for the hard-work that it puts towards making its students better dental professionals. Along with the formal education the students also get an opportunity to do community services. The most intriguing fact that I like about this dental school is the RIDE program which is a living example of how this dental school strives to encourage its students to serve the underprivileged society. University of Washington also provides its students with research opportunities and continuing dental education programs. Also the

post-graduate programs provided by the dental schools are exceptionally good. With all of these facilities provided to a student it appears to be a highly student friendly dental school. All of these facts were very much reinforced when I visited the University in the year 2011 and when I got the opportunity to meet the students and faculty. With a wide array of professional programs offered by this dental school it is easily one of the most desired program for an international student like me who seeks to acquire advanced dental skills.

What are your long-term career goals? Answer-Since the past 4 years I have been involved with providing volunteer dental services. Born and raised in a developing country like India where dentistry instead of being a necessity is considered to be a royalty in rural areas requires me to continue these volunteer dental services. Given an opportunity I would be honored to do community services in United States as well. Probably one of the most ambitious goal that I have is to open a dental polyclinic which makes majority of the dental specialties available under one roof. With this facility available the patients can obtain greatest advantage by visiting a single destination that takes care of all their dental needs. One of my professional long term goal is my desire to be involved in the educational aspect of dentistry. Imparting knowledge to the upcoming dental students will not only help them but also contribute to my growth and experience. In the long run I aspire to do post graduation and research in the field of Oral Maxillofacial surgery. I acknowledge the fact that it takes a great deal of maturity and excellent clinical skills to be able to be an oral surgeon. This is the reason why it stands to be my ultimate goal.
