God judges God creates

God will not stand by and ignore evil! God judged his people because they turned away from him and his ways and refused to turn back to him, and they were taken into exile. Today, his judgement falls either on Jesus as he dies, or it will fall on those who have not received his forgiveness when Jesus returns.

We are not here by accident! Our loving God created a good world. And out of his whole creation, we are special, made in his image to be in relationship with him and to rule the world under him. But we have made a mess of both.

God calls
God did not give up on his world or his people! God promises to build up a people to be a light in a dark world, beginning with the call of one man, Abraham. God continues to call his people it is estimated that there are 2 billion Christians in the world today, and we are some of them.

God comes
God became one of us! He came to live he knows what it is to be human. And he came to die as a perfect human he is the only one qualified to take our place on the cross, dying so that we can live.

God loves
The cross-shaped plan! At the heart of Gods mission to restore the world and bring people back to himself is Gods sacrificial love, shown as he gave what was most precious to him, his only Son, to die for us. There may be times when it just doesnt feel like God loves us the cross of Jesus says he does!

God saves
God rescued his people out of slavery in Egypt, and this was not a one-off event but a picture of how God has saved us today in Jesus through his death and resurrection. God saved his people then, and he saves people today.

God sends
No life has greater purpose than one lived for Jesus! He sent out his first disciples and every single one of his disciples since to take the gospel to those who need to hear it and to live as his ambassadors in a needy world.

God reigns
We not only worship God as Saviour but we are to obey him as Lord and King. God gave the law to his rescued people because he cares about our welfare and knows what is best for us. A life lived Gods way was the best way then and it is the best way now.

God completes

There is never no hope! When Jesus returns, God will create a new heaven and a new earth it will be the world we were created for and the world we all long for. Are you ready for Jesus to return, as a forgiven sinner, living your life faithfully to what he has called you to?
