From this research, it has shown good positive min result where from ten question six question has shown high min result which is related to the concept map technique. Overall result it has shown 3.55 for mean result which is 1

at the good level result. The researcher also has been using descriptive research, whereby the students and the teacher has been observed and interview. Most of them has shown positive respond where there are able to understand and good understanding when the concept map technique apply in the classroom. I am impressed with this article about how the author tried to find a good approach to increase student excellence in achievement in subject of history among form two students at a school in Cheras. Learning method that uses the concept map clearly shows a positive increase to a group students at a school in Cheras. The increase was proven when compared between pre-test and post-test. This concept map is a simple approach to be implemented by teachers and enable students to better understand what is conveyed by the teacher in subject of history. This method is suitable to overcome the problems of teaching and learning in subject of history which can be considered a rather boring subject for students at present because there are many facts that need to be remembered or memorized. There are some strength and weaknesses in this article. The weaknesses in this article is that although the author has stated in the implementation of activities using concept maps of teaching history, but readers can not see and understand a clear picture of how this approach can be applied by readers of this article. Description of the activities of one to four activities can still be considered too general to provide guidance to be applied. Besides the weakness of this article are the author just made a test to a small group of students who may not have the same result if this method applied to students who are too weak in basic education. Besides the level of students ability who were tested are not described by the author. I am saying this because the students who cant read and write may not get benefit the from the usage of this concept map method. From the strength perspective that we can see in the writing of this article is conducting a study based on several theories. This can be seen in the research literature. Author or researcher has expressed a number of theories that support the implementation of the concept maps in teaching methods. This shows the method of concept map is not a strange method in learning methods before. This also shows the concept map method can be adopted and has been used by prominent educators before.

`Beside that the researcher also has proved that the students overall performance in subject of history has increased after the process of teaching and learning using concept maps implemented. Pass percentage has increased from 59 percent in the pre-test increased to 86.5 percent in the post-test. Based on the analysis, it shows that the students have received the use of concept maps in teaching and learning process well. Mean score of students' acceptance towards the use of concept maps in teaching and learning of history is 3.55 where its shows moderately positive. Looking at this article, I think that the author has achieved the goal of his research at a moderate level. The use of concept maps in teaching and learning history showed a positive impact in improving student achievement. Descriptive analysis of pre and post test indicated the presence of a significant increase in post-test than pretest. Percentage of students who pass in this subject has increased from 59 percent in the pre-test increased to 86.5 percent in the posttest. In terms of the quality of student achievement also showed an increase in the number of students who receive grades of A, B and C in the post-test than in the pre-test. Descriptive results of interview with teachers and students have shown the use of concept maps have helped students to improve the ability to remember the facts in the history subject. In addition, students' interest towards history subject has shown positive improvement. This article do also provide some trustworthy point and view. Where, author or researcher has expressed the some of view that can be trusted. Among of them are the finding of Abedah Norhaini Ismail and Hassan (2004) who explained that the use of concept maps is very effective in improving student achievement in the history subject. In addition, previous studies have been done in other subjects by Cliburn (1990), Heinze-Fry and Novak (1990), Vilberg (1996) and Wahidin (2004) were a view that supports the effectiveness of using concept maps in teaching and learning. There are some arguments relevant/ applicable in the local contexts. In my opinion, the arguments presented are relevant and acceptable in the context of the current. Im saying this because students achievements in subject of history increased obviously among of form two students at a school in area of Cheras. It proves that the use of concept maps is an applicable in the local contexts. The author's argument is also relevant and solid because the method of using concept maps in the subject of history is supported by several views or the past findings that trustworthy. Conclusion As for the conclusion concept map has given positive impact on the students. Whereby, it is effective to the students with the lower score to increase their performance in the class for history subject. Its also show students change of attitude after using concept map methods where they are able to understand and remember difficult facts in history subject. It has prove that concept map has help teacher in their teaching and gives significant increase in their students performance by looking base on their performance in pre-test and post test. It is important for teacher that are teaching in this subject to receive training on using concept map method as they will know how to apply it more in their teaching. Lastly, teacher also must have innovative and creative side in them so that they can adapt their teaching suitable to their students performance. 3
