Drimaren Dark Blue HF-CD cdg is a reactive dye for cellulosic fibres and their blends that is mainly recommended for pad batch and all continuous dyeing processes, but is also suitable for exhaust application. This new product is recommended for medium to dark shades, where high light fastness is required and Drimaren Aquamarine HF-CD cdg or Drimaren Blue HF-RL cdg becomes uneconomical. Drimaren Dark Blue HF-CD cdg is a trichromatic element combining good chlorine and peroxide fastness with high stability to atmospheric pollutants and high light fastness. The robust dyeing and high fastness performance make Drimaren Dark Blue HF-CD cdg the perfect trichromy element in combination with yellow and red elements from the Drimaren HF and CL ranges.
- Very high degree of fixation - Excellent washing off properties - Shade stable to fluctuations in fixation times (batching, steaming, thermofixation) - Very good pad liquor stability - Meets all modern fastness requirements - high process reliability
Properties - Trichromatic element for medium and dark shades in combination with Drimaren Yellow HF-CD cdg and Drimaren Dark Red HF-CD cdg when chlorine and light fastness are required. - Trichromatic element for medium to dark shades in combination with Drimaren Yellow HF-CD cdg and Drimaren Red HF-CD cdg for high light fastness in medium shades. - Good light fastness in medium shades and high light fastness in dark shades. - Excellent stability to atmospheric pollutants (nitrogen oxide, ozone). - Very good diffusion and levelling properties. - Fully compatible with all elements of the Drimaren HF and CL ranges.

Positioning For dyeing medium to deep shades when light fastness requirements cannot be met using a navy component and where recipe cost becomes an issue with a conventional lightfast blue dye. Meets the highest retailer fastness demands for light, chlorine, US home laundering and washing fastness to detergents containing a bleaching activator (e.g. M&S C10A). Recommended where fastness to atmospheric pollutants (gas fading) is an issue. Recommended for exhaust, pad batch and all continuous dyeing processes.
